I have voulenteered to organize this, so I have some ideas for this meeting.

Currently, I, Vana, Elof and Aegir are planning to build a city. It is called Tanelorn and will be located right outside Vesper. In Trammel. We could host the meeting in our town hall, a keep. It could also be in my tavern, which also will be located in Tanelorn, but I think the villa is too small... *smiles*

Several competitions could be held, including battles of different types (then we could see the defenders of PvP in action! *smiles*), quests for your mind and we'll keep on making up ideas (post if you have any!).

Can you wait until we get this town built? *smiles* It will take some time, with the waiting for the patch, the staged house placement and decorating the houses, but we'll get there.

We could of course just meet somewhere tomorrow, but wouldn't this be more fun? Then we won't just discuss PK's and the new patch, but have some events that we can take part in and discuss afterwards. Maybe the winners can brag a bit too... *smiles* And the loosers can drown their sorrows in ale... *laughs*

And Kofu, is it possible to get the winners a title? That would be great... Then we could do it every other month or so... Then we could see if the winners from the last time still deserves the title! But I'm afraid that's inpossible Kofu?

If we could get enough support for this, then it could be a great evening!

I don't know if you were on Europa during an event that I like to call the Japanese invasion a few months ago. The short story was that some 75+ Japanese players ( Maybe they were Asian or could have been Korean couldn't quiet decipher the hiroglyphics ) got fed up with the unreliabilty of their shard ( again this info may not be accurate ) and logged on to Europa to try and crash the server as a protest. They all dressed in read and ran around killing whoever they could and generally creating bottlenecks and a bit of lag but no worse than usual. I actually created a character for the event dressed as them and followed them. They were out to kill as many people as possible and wreak havoc. I followed them through Papau, Delucia, City of the Dead, Delucia, Papau, Moonglow, Moonglow Cemetry and Britain and not once did the server crash. I must get those pictures on my site because they are an unbelievable thing to see. If anyone knows where i can get a picture publishe dquickly then I will put 1 up for all to see.

Back to the Topic in hand, I asume if the patch goes in before Saturday ( breaks down into hysterical fits of laughter ) then we will be meeting in Trammel. This will mean that those planning on gating will need a boat to get to Nujel'm to mark runes as the moonstones will not work in the Felucca Nujel'm.

I have just been with Sagonari helping to get locations in Nujelm suitable for (hopefully) such a huge number of people who are going to turn up ;)

Now we are getting somewhere with the planning.

Witt and I were in Nujel'm tonight, and we have found some very good places for us to meet. We thought that the guildhall is a bit dull. No furniture. So, we went through the city and found the theater. It is quite large, and there's a stage and many benches. We can then begin there, and have some events. When the fun events are over, we could go to the chess board and have a group photo! Nice for a photo album... *smiles* Afterwards, we could go to the Inn "Restful Slumber", a large Inn, where we can eat, drink and talk. And then... Then we hopefully have made some good friends!

Events? Witt and I have thought of these events:
Fameous people! We'll get all the fameous people from the board on to the stage and then tell about them. Hopefully a bit funny!

Awards. We could give people, here from the board, awards!

Best dressed. Let's have a "best dressed woman" and "best dressed man" competition. What is the prize for winning? The fame and the honour! That's all... Then the winner could be allowed to write that they are winners of that competition in their signature, perhaps?

I have marked some runes, so you who have colounteered to gate people from different cities can get one from me. You'll often find me at the Pot Shop outside Vesper. See the "Searching GM smith" post for directions. Or you can ICQ me.
