I was wondering what the Crimson Dragon gives and drops when he dies besides rare gems and Peerless loot? does he give a magical locked box? does he give a Crimson Cinture? does he give anything special at all besides gems and certain peerless loot?

No, not really. It's barely with it to kill him.

Thanks Ladies for the info who knows maybe if enough players fight the Crimson Dragon with me maybe ill get a Crimson eventually. I know my odds of getting a Crimson are slim to none but i might as well try.

I have been in on many killings. I did get one nice heavy x-bow off one. On one other I got a boomstick. Other then a few odds and ends of jewelry I died LOTS for little. Would I do it again? You betcha! It is so pleasent seeing folks work together, throwing heals and cures. Rezzing the fallen. Shard teamwork! Just my 2gp and on Cats!

It gives junk, trash peerless loot. Same chance as a peerless for a crimson.

As far as items are concerned, i'm more interested in getting something new, or special, relevant to what you are killing. The gems are fine, even if you only get one or two, it is still something that you can only get from killing a crimson dragon. The reward has no use, barely any difference from other gems and probably doesn't sell for much, but for me I love them because they are different and signify the killing of a specific "thing".

As poor as some of the mods i've seen have been, the new spellbooks and the coloured armours are also great, from the invading force, as they just look different from other stuff. I think I just like to hoarde and collect stuff in general, though. But a crimson cinture... being in factions gives you one that is better than a regular drop one, so why bother with the regular one which you could sell for heaps more. Unless you aren't in a faction, of course.

One thing that I think has been missed by a lot of players is that when it dies and the gems explode all over that some of them are "rare".

If you take the time to gather the gems you will get some OLD gems including tiny Ruby, LARGE Citrine, LARGE Amythist probably more too but thats what I got so far.

They do give crimsons as I got one yesterday. Ive gotten alot of really good items off of these. I also have 1700 luck and bushido perfection so my loot is really good.

Couple really good mage weps etc. Ive soloed about 15 of them and there is so much loot that before I'm able to look at it all it goes public. His corpse is just like a dreadhorns or other peerless times like 2.

I thought the crimson dragon corpse was "free for all" for those who qualify for damage, is it actually instanced to each individual player?

The first night they were out it was a "free for all" but a few days later it switched to an instanced corpse.
