Cannot join a Faction...

I am having a serious problem trying to join factions. I have searched every char on my account to see if any are in a faction, none are members. I have sent 5 messages to GM's in game and keep getting directed to EA.com to fix my problem...yeah right. One GM even told me he "Done some changes to my Character in game that would allow me to join factions" I still cannot join and I have sent two bug reports and not gotten a response back...this has been going on for over a week now. All my guildies are having fun in factions and I cannot join in on it...someone please help me. I am not in a guild.

You probably already did this when you were confirming that no characters were in factions, but if not, try logging on again and have each character say, "What is my faction term status?" Characters that are not in a faction will see no response when they type that question. Characters that ARE in a faction will see either a response of, "You are not in the process of quitting the faction" or a response telling you how many days/hours are left until your character will leave the faction it is in. You can also go anywhere in Fel and when you mouse over your character, you will see a faction abbreviation after the character's name and a faction title if the character is actually in a faction. (You probably already did all this, so my apologies if this is redundant for you. :D )

Occasionally the process of quitting factions is buggy and you have trouble getting your character out. Not sure it will help you, since you didn't mention you have ever had any characters in factions, but in case you did and you find one that can't seem to quit the faction they were in, the suggestions there might help.
