I just received the "Voon for Stratics welcome" e-mail stating that I have been signed up for this beta. I know that i did not sign up for this beta but, according to your post, every Stratics user was automatically signed up for this.

I am sorry but I do not recall having granted Stratics the right to use my Stratics account user name and private e-mail address to sign me up for 3rd party betas like this.

This is not a third party offer. Although Vivox, who we have partnered with to bring you Voon, is a third party -- Stratics Voon is a collaborative effort between Stratics and Vivox. We are contacting our users to market a Stratics product -- this isn't out of the norm at all. Stratics and *no one* else has complete control and ownership over all Stratics Voon accounts and all Stratics user information.

I got the email and decided to try it. there are a few of us in the channel and its not bad, we are testing lag, sound, would be rather nice to be able to put your shard logo on the as your avatar for a starter. someone also check to see about creating a channel of their own and has no problems in that area either. some may enjoy this, if it stays free :} and I can see peeps that are paying a rather high price for Teamspeak and vent. what the hey give it a chance. and they sent me a user name and pass but not the one I use for stratics.
