Hmm so we can drink the eggnog all the way down and make more. Devs you do know this question is coming. Is this a hint that we will soon be able to make our own ciders, liquers, ales and wines? Please tell us the eggnog bucket is a start of what could be in the future. :D

And please make brewing/distilling fun and interesting. Hopefully not all ingredients would require defeating a dragon. For complexity and fun results, I would like to see it some where in between plant growing and bod collecting.
Please bring crafting back into the game...

"Where every one knows your name". I just missed out on the village Smithy era. I was just starting. I used to hang out at the Smithy area just to watch the interaction. Yeah there were people sitting at the bank too. They were pretty boring.
The real action and interaction was at the Smithy's. Repairing, crafting, and even enhancing (later). Bods killed the Crafting star. When bods showed up every one had to have their own crafter.
It is all reward now... Please, find a way to reward folks for being social. Luna bank does not count. You could get killed there! Well, if you played were I do. *winks*
Please. Give us tools to bring back interaction and roleplaying. I applaude the EM movement. I will do my best to support this. I will hope EM's will reciprocate.
Sorry to go so way off the mark. Christmas *spirits*
Bring back the role playing!

That would be cool and the better your cooking skill the better the ale, loggers and such. I would try and make my own pub with my name as the logger type, that would sweet.

eh - you mean the better you r alchemy skill, right?
How about.. Brewing for Cooking (it's all in the ingredients), Distilling for Alchemy (it's all in the process)?

Dev's: Please do not add more consumeable items required to be carried to PvP.
The list is already too long.

The list is already too long. This has nothing to do with PvP. This is for those, like me,that would want to see more options added to the "crafting" end of the game.

Alchemy? Ack! You would compare brewing to chemistry? The key skills should be cooking and taste identification... you need taste ID to tell when the brew is just right!
Besides, alchemists are way too overpowered anyway... time to take the nerf bat to them!

La, alchemists are not overpowered. The only powerful aspect of alchemy (aside from making potions) is the enhance potions properties on talisman's and jewelry which anyone can equip.
I agree on applying taste ID with cooking though. Those two seem to go well together. But alchemy can be applied to brewing. While the goal may be taste, chemistry is still a part of brewing regardless.

I'm suprised you didn't suggest brewing ingredients as faction items!
Hmm... Legendary Thief of the Brewers Faction, steals the "Sigil of Hops"... from the opposing faction "Winers Faction" (wine drinkers), who then have 12hrs to recover the Sigil... However, if the "Brewers Faction" keeps the sigil, a single "hop" spawns randomly on a Peerless Boss...
...so NOW, the Brewers must kill the boss and recover the hop, while defending themselves from gank-squads, and raiders from the "Tea Toddlers" faction. (Who oppose all drinking and thus are the sworn enemies of both the Brewers Faction and the Winers Faction.)
See! This would bring factions back! Make PvP fun for everyone and we could brew our own beer! Win! Win!
Oh, and to keep it from turning into a mindless brewing grind... you would need 100 hops for a keg of beer... so you would enjoy all the aspects of faction warfare, PvP, spawns, etc.. 100x to get that one keg!

you need 2 eggs. If you put just one, it won't refill the cauldron.
so 2 eggs, milk, liquor and sugar.

It's not in the works. But it's part of my wish list (hops anyone?). But my wish list is mighty long and my more urgent task list including bug fixes is even longer. The long term plan is to make most of the peculiar plants produce a resource that will tie in with the crafting system: cooking, alchemy, tailoring and inscription (not sold yet on the plans for carpentry and tinkering).
So short answer:
brewing = hopefully
ETA = your guess is as good as mine

Aye, and have some happy holidays Sakkarah eh, you hoser :)
hos⋅er /ˈhoʊzər/ Spelled Pronunciation [hoh-zer]
–noun Canadian Slang. a person who is considered unintelligent or uncouth, esp. a beer-drinking man.
Hold it right there!!! Unintelligent, meh, only every other day! Uncouth, I'll accept!
But beer-drinking man, heck no!! :rant2:
A) "I am no man!" (I should pull a Eowyn on you for that!); and
b) I don't drink beer (yes, shame on me).
That little bit about good tenure won't save you!

Hoser has been a fond term in my family for many years; ever since SCTV's Great White North and then as well with Strange Brew. So needless to say, I meant it in the kindest possible way ;)
Now take off eh & and I'll keep my eyes open for some of those errant ice patches ;)
