I play pvp thief, but am not above stealing from convenient monster if near and no players.
I have changed character to be more effective in spawns- became elf for nightsight, tracking difficulty, rasied stealth to 120.
Now, special items from monsters are more frequent.
This raises query:
since luck seems to play no part in special item stealing, does elf abilities? The elf racial ability to "find" more rare items when mining and woodcutting- does it apply somehow to "finding" more rare items on monsters, in this application?
I have stolen more special items as elf than as human. This may be luck, and not coding. But the difference of one mornings activities asks me question.
Does anyone know?
