I mean its not like I don't like getting a Cavorting Club for the billionth time, but I really think these arties should be rotated. A new one introduced and an old one discontinued, maybe at the rate of one a month.

I mean face it, its not like many of these arties are really better than something you'd find as random treasure. I mean just take a random dagger and call it Mondain's Nail File or some crap....

This is actually a good idea...

having a 6 month recycling of the Paragon drops would be refreshing.

Good idea.

The problem lies in balancing the items.

They would have to be Martie material...not DOOM artifcat material.

Testing would have to be done.

Cavorting Club is crappy....but it is atleast unique....

Yeah... I mean, of the existing Ilsh Arties, I think only the Pixie Swatter and Heart of Lion are really useful, the rest of them are just crappy items with name tags... so I don't think it would be a huge programming challenge.

How about the ORIGINAL versions of the New Haven rewards (only without blessed tags) as replacement minors? Or, finally adding the ToT minors to the rotation (say, perhaps, only to level 6 maps and Leviathans). and expanding the ML ones to drop on all paragons?

BTW, the Burglar's bandana is pretty useful for a PvP thief (no other item gives a snooping bonus after all), and it appears that even Doom no longer requires real GM skill (I've gotten up to level 7 stealables with a 90 real thief with equipment putting him at 115).

Violet courage is as good as HotL for females

The bow of the juka king is a good reptile slayer, if you don't have a better one yet (in other words, it fits right in with the theme of items for characters working their way up, not power-training to all skills done in 2 days).

Then there are the ones that are T-map and/or Leviathan exclusives (the candleabras sell for 100s of thousands, and expect to pay millions for the seahorse & anchor).

They are good to get newer characters started. Hence, Minor.
They don't have to change and remove items just to please those that are bored. Taking existing content away is always a bad idea. SA will add many new item opportunities for those that are bored.

I wouldn't want them discontinued, I actually use a few of them, but it would be nice if new ones were added and rotated with the old arties. Would hate to lose the original artifacts permanately.

How about more uses for the Ilsh minor artifacts, like they used the Phillips Wooden Steed to make hitching posts? I thought that was an awesome idea and use to make something new.

I like this better...

for example, a cavorting club and pixie swatter and be ingrediants for a better mace weapon

and heart of lion and violet courage could be used for some good armor

just a thought

I would love to see a place where we could turn then in like during the ToT for a higher marty. you don't know how many times I wish the library would accept items such as spring clean up did so I could earn points toward an library item. I wish all the NPC at the library took everything like spring clean up items.

I was originally a fan of cycling them out too, but the hitching post has opened an interesting new design space: using minors as rare ingredients for more modern craftables.

Although I agree Vesper museum really should have enough wood by now to actually start collecting relics :)

I always thought the should cycle all the arties and marties.
