Deep Forest Green from slimes = Ranger Green?

I just dyed my leather armor this color, and setting the legs down next to the ranger studded, they appear the same color.

Am I just seeing things, or has a long requested color become temporarily available?

I would love to have some in that color. Just haven't had the chance to search for the slimes recently.

With the leather dye tub. You could always get the ranger green.
With a bugged leather tub. You could dye cloth items.
Which that tub is not illegal to own or use.

I know you could get a close (but not exact) color for cloth with a special dye tub (and that the leather dye tub was supposed to be close - but it only looks it when you actually DYE leather that color), but I was always under the impression, based on the dye tub FAQs, that you couldn't get ranger green from a cloth dye tub of any sort (other than the bugged leather tub). And, anyway, you can dye metal with the slime...

It's interesting to note that my CC looks Ranger Green when dyed by the slime, but my Robe of the eclipse looks too light (the color from the special tub, comparing a robe to it dyed that way), and a doublet dyed with the special dye tub looks WAY too light to be ranger green (much lighter than either), and I can't dye "normal" cloth to compare it to.

I wonder if you can slime-dye the shirts from spring cleaning?

Ranger green was always available on the leather tub. Exactly ranger green.

We spent a couple of days at the Bushido Dojo. We normally wear purple, and maybe some white. We changed our scheme with this green to purple and green. It sounds ugly, but man it looks great.

We LOVE that green color. My son likes the champagne red too. I don't much like that blue.
