Craftable Hooded Shrouds?

Now that hooded shrouds are fairly common and come in a variety of colours, can we please have them added to the tailor menu?

I remember the justification some time back for not making them craftable was that they could be mistaken for game officials (GMs, Seers, etc), potential for scamming etc.. But now they're 'out there', surely there's no harm in making them craftable? They would be cloth items, dyable with cloth tubs, no added properties.

Maybe, if the devs are feeling generous :bowdown:, they could add a beggar's shroud to the list of beggable items? Maybe.. "a threadbare robe, acquired by begging" ..or the like.


*edit* I know we have elven hooded robes, but they're ugly and race-exclusive.

Sweet idea, especially the begging one.
Some new special begging items (not just for GM beggars, but to encourage those of us in training) would be very nice... It would be lovely to dress a beggar in all begged items. Okay, sorry for derailing your baby topic,.

I bet some of the Special tub colors would look nice on a shroud.

I'd love to see little rewards and special items/buffs for all skills...something to make training a bit more fun and less like a chore.

Not to forget the water proof hooded jacket that only a fisher can wear. Has those neon green stripes or all in that rubber duck yellow. Collared long coat for tamers like the western slicker.

Yeah This would be a cool idea, if your guild has a certain color then shrouds look pretty cool when a bunch of people in the same guild wear the same color. But make them only dyable with the Special dye tub, not regular ones. SAY NO TO NEON!

They would be nice to craft. That said i still don't like them i mean how do you show off your killer hair job with one of them silly shrouds on. hehe But seriously it is a player choice in what they think looks cool and haveing them avalible to be a bit customisable would be handy for guilds and rp even.

The "no to neon" argument is vaguely moot, now that you can dye the replica shrouds with the original ToT pigments.

There should be a toggle for hood up/down. And they need to fix the elf problem with every thing you put on your head showing as a headband.

They did a toggle like this for DAoC. /hood, and it raises or drops the hood.

and yes, it's frustrating to have an elven ninja who can't cover her face. Kinda silly.

More RP items! I would also love to see more items that are able to be held that aren't weapons. A walking stick... bouquet of flowers... more SC lanterns...

To both it being craftable and being available in any color. I was fine with them not allowing it for the big swamp dragons, but I really don't see how it can be that annoying for neon colors on a robe.
