new greedy acts at waste/shadowlord

players begin to start blocking the entrance to the hut

they do a lot blocking stuff into a box/chest (like candelabra), teleport as fast as possible to the hut put the box down in the entrance and destroy it --- result all blocking stuff are in front of the entrance now.

and because the other stupid player are stupid enough to still try to enter the hut you cant see the blocking stuff fast enough to remove it because of all the players or name-bars

(only with shift ctrl, but you know how hard it is to target the shadowlord, try now to remove 125+ candelabras or whatever in time)

events are really good to show how greedy players are

dev if you read it pls let it spawn outside instead of inside the hut (but i doubt this will happen)

Argh! Never managed to target a SL before the blocking. Doesn´t sound like it´s getting any easier (Gave up on the SL´s two days ago out of sheer frustration. Was planning to give it a go again, but I´m not sure it´s worth it...)

Ironic how this game reflects human nature at its rawest form.

Greed comes so easily to the surface when given the opportunity to do so.

My outlook...who cares? If it is that important to you...go to a dead shard and farm it rather than complain.

There's some magic clown on atl. that likes to cast energy fields at the door, so pets can't get in.

I havent seen anyone on Napa do that yet but now that youve posted it on UHall im sure some jackass will do it.

I've never used any of these methods and I've rarely failed to get a cloak (and I don't use blackrock) on Atlantic. My thought is, they're probably not greatly benefited by using the tactics. They're mainly just wastes of space.

As far as pets are concerned, an easy method to bypass blocked entrances is to run into the center of the hut (nothing can block you...you're in tram), then summon pet with a pet ball. I've never had my greater blocked out.

Oddly enough these actions are not from greedy players. They are from players that complain about spamming and tamer pets because they can't see. Go figure the greatest enemies to these events are the griefers and complainers not the players just playing.

this act wasnt against tamers alone, it was against every template


there is always an event where one template is better than another .... people complain about tamers, then about archers, then about mages and so on

Use an area spell (if you're a warrior, holy light) and you'll auto attack the spawn. Problem solved.

You misread what I said. Those who are just playing are not doing that. The ones that are complaining and grifting are. Which are the anti tamers the anti spammers or whatever

i give those people who put candleabras down an A for effort :thumbsup: however it is kind of a lame tactic but pretty funny in a sense... im glad i hoarded over 100 cloaks of corruption last time so i dont have to deal with shadowlords now

Tried reporting it? I had someone do that once, place loads of candelabras to block recalling in I think. GM came and whisked the player away. This is a very long time ago though.

Or pick the candelabras up might be a faster option.

It's hard to expect people to behave like they have >80 IQ without any immediate deterrant for not doing so.

Being killed by a bunch of peed off players would put a stop to a lot of this kind of thing but it's Trammel so the bed is made, lie in it I guess until the TOS/other rules etc are unambiguously violated.
