ok i have done every thing for tryin out this SA...and of course no go..is there or is there not going to be a regular 2d cleint like our good old uo that we play now..this is complete insaneness...i have down loaded i have played beta of this new expansion but would love to try it b4 we purchase the expansion...:wall::wall: so is their help for the wife and I...LOL...oh ya its not PATCHING!!! it says unknown facet or just a black screen ARG!!!!!!!!:cursing::cursing: wife is goin to kill me if i dont get this figured out so plz help me...

if you are running Vista you need to check, for both patcher and client, 'run as administrator' every time, and you need to set compatibility to Windows XP sp 2

It says.. to dl the new classic 2d client... click HERE. Click the here and it will automatically start the DL. It may take 3 hrs depending on your connection but it's worth it. The 2d is MUCH better than the SA almost 3d client. I have not crashed ONCE! Too bad it won't work with UOAssist. I love that program. :(

It does work with Assist, but you will have to find someone who knows how to do it *not I*
I would guess that when SA goes Live (as in, Sept 8) the plain old 2D client will be patched to be what the special client is right now, and your UOA will work as usual.

When you start UOA ->click settings in the lower right -> User defined -> C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Ultima Online Stygian Abyss Classic\client.exe (or wherever your SA Classic client is installed.)
