Despite having many runes (around 20, not in a book but in my pack) the best so far is four. This may sound low compared to the other numbers posted but the guilds here work the dungeons 24/7. This morning the most I could collect in one transformation was one, which is a joke.

Try fel dungeons. I recommend cove levels 2 and 3. Sure you have to run out to recall out but they are typically free of competition.

I get 5 on a good run, 3-4 is normal. During busy times I get 1, and not always that even. I try to find less traveled dungeons, but those are getting rare.

There was some luck, but it was mainly skill because you had to know where to go, and be able to get there really quickly. So many people doing this will never even get 3.

I agree, a good set of runes and knowing where to go helps a ton. 10 is my personal best, I average 6-7 each time. Then again repeating it over and over doesn't hurt either. I have 38 costumes so far (and still no dream wraith)

My best was 16 in balron form. I was carrying 15 soul harvesters and only had to go to the hag once to get one more. Ended up getting four more yellows off that trip(enough to go back into balron form!)

You can very easily carry as many as you want. Bags of sending reject the item tho. You can carry as much moongrass as you want to, but it still expires quickly. =[

I get about 4 harvesters finished in a transformation. When the shard fills up I can only get about 1-2. I had lots better luck before the people figured out the quest... =/

Just because you can't use bags of sending, doesn't mean your way isn't an exploit. If you are so sure it isn't an exploit then why not share it?

Ok, heres how to do it.
Go to the blood dungeon in ilsh, kill blood eles and balrons until you get them both to be paragon. Attack the blood elemental, spin around 3 times, then flamestrike the balron,(you can bleed him if your a dexxor). If you are a tamer, you simply can't do it.

Once you do the above, allow the blood ele to kill you, not the balron. Then the balron has to loot 1337 gold off your corpse. Rez up, get your body. The last thing you have to do is strip naked, toggle honorable execution, and hit the balron.

Once you have done all that, you can pick up as many soul harvesters as you want.

Anyways, my personal best is 9, I average 7. I have good runes, but I could use a few more, I cycle through them and other people in the same areas makes me have to skip which leaves me with not quite enough runes to cycle quickly.

Hi Dame Judi, as tjalle said it's 9 crystals in 10 minutes - that's 45 red sparklies (whew!)

I've found covetous to be a great area for getting sparklies. On Baja you can't mark down by sudiva but you can mark at the top of the steps, then the northwest back area is good, then the middle east and middle west areas, then the front. Another good area is the orc caves in the back but I'd skip it during prime time. And also deceit has some nice spots.

If you're having trouble getting more than a couple crystals during one transformation I would sacrifice a transformation to go and mark runes (safer that way). If you end up doing a dungeon like deciet or wrong be careful because there are a lot of traps on the floor and those will un-transform you and make you attackable.

I would skip big spread out dungeons like shame or despise, there is too much running involved to try to find sparkles. Go for dungeons where the level you are on is very small on the map, those seem to work out best.

J/K, but that's one of the spots I use too :) The skeletons just outside are excellent for getting essences too, since there are so many of them. Quantity > quality of kills.

Found out how to do this, it doesn't actually seem to confer any actual benefit though. With one Phylactery full you still cant gather any more essence.

16. Almost 17 but i dropped out of form right before the fifth sparkle. Literally, dropped out 5 steps from it.

6-7 average, in a fairly well-travelled area.

I've kind of figured out a search pattern which usually nets me at least a couple of sparkles each time, then I just recall back to the start, and go all over again.
