I keep reading that Peacing is not as useful as I supposed.
I'd appreciate the opinions of those who have tried 'em.
Thanks.
Profile? I don't know, the idea is these will all be new skills for me (never got a bard over 70 music before).
I imagine my new guy to be a 7xGM:
Animal Lore
Veterinarian
Magery
Taming
Music
Peace
AND??????
I figure he can use mage weapons for backup.
Disco for sure. You can not only lower its stats, but peace it as well.

First choice is Disco. Second choice is Peace.
At 120 Disco you reduce your opponent's skills and resists by 28%.
Peace is usefull for crowd control and taming stuff that bites.
most guys that run bard tamers have 120 peace that they use when tameing pets.
then once their stables are all full they slap it on a soul stone and pick up the 120 discord.
once you try Disco you'll never dance to the silly peace again.

I like having both, soul stoning for effect.
A peace tamer is good for actually taming pets, plus peacing is useful in many dungeons
Discord is great when actually hunting, makes the kills so much faster.
provoke? I never use it, it has annoying bugs and to me, not worth it. If there are 2 foes, I'd rather peace one and kill the other instead of putting them against each other. Now, maybe as a hider/stealther provoker that is ok.
So for tamers, either peace or discord. I wouldn't go with provoke.
