Anyone? Can't find this anywhere.
Powder of Fortification increases the Max Durability on an item by 10 Points per use of the Powder.

I found some info on it, it says metal armor and weapons only? So it can't be used on leather?

A) Ruins the game (by ruining crafters by making items immortal).
B) Saves the game (since it's item based already, we need PoF to stay).
As I posted on the earlier PoF thread, IMHO the answer is "both of the above". Ultimately, we need a solution that can resolve both A & B :
(reproduction of my post)
Devs, fellow players, please hear me out, this I think is the best and only solution possible for this stale-mate (at least the only solution which won't drive players to quit UO) :
1) Do *NOT* remove PoF.
2) But *DO* continue to make crafters more useful and more desirable.
3) Give everyone *freedom of choice* to either PoF and keep any item forever, or to replace it with a new, equally good crafted piece (make crafters produce artifact-quality stuff easily). In other words, let's achieve a balance, a best-of-both-worlds.
4) No one should be *forced* to go one way over the other (eg. forcing item breakage, or forcing smiths out of a job). Forcing pple is what will drive players away from the game.
Long Live UO! ^_^

PoF can be used on anything (eg. bows, leather pieces, weapons, shields) that has durability (xxx/yyy).

Powder of Tempering (?) was the original version of POF, and was metal only. When it was changed to PoF, it started working on all things with resists.
