Can't enhance clubs? why?

They are on my carpenters crafting gump, but i get one I want to enhance, and I cant!

Is this intended? If not has it been mentioned before? Anyone know?

Might as well put it under the "many bugs of the past that will never be touched".

I think you can enhance the clubs that are facing one way, but not the ones facing the other way.

You can enhance clubs. Get club, go to carpenter shop and buy Nails, drive nails into club. = Nail Club of Death. hehe
