Have they stopped giving out gifts already?

It seems like it - I have a friend who does not have any on his account except for already collected ones. I would have thought the purple bunnies would stop at the same time but they are still active. I tried to find a post with an official stop date for gifts but could not find one.

I just got one two days ago on a character I created that just turned 30 days so they are still giving them out.
Characters must be 30 days old to get gifts.
I just had that on Atlantic. Logged in and none of my characters were given them. These characters are all at least 6 years old
I tried to find a post as well mentioning a finishing date, but no joy..
Try again now?
( If I haven't logged into a character for a while, I find it generally takes two logins before they pick up reward-items )
Naa no luck. The characters all had at least two logins when I tried about an hour ago. Just gave them all another few each, still nothing
I'll try another shard..

I have tried logging in over and over and they still never get any gifts. Luckily it is only on one or two on different shards then my mains.
Okies, just tried multiple characters on multiple shards. Nothing on any of them. I guess they did sneek in and turn it off

Just logged in and checked a few again - no gifts. These are characters that are a number of years old and they have holiday gifts from other years on them. It would be nice to have an official word on this - either intended turn off or bug of the game/code or we have bugged characters.
I've got a character on my 2nd account that hasn't received her gift, yet. I'm not exactly sure when I created her though, so maybe not quite 30 days have passed, yet.
The reason I'm curious, is that this is an older account that I recently re-activated after a few years. I'm hoping that doesn't make a difference. I'll keep checking, and should I receive my gift (or not), I'll post here. =)

Finally got me egg!.....though you can't see it..it's invisable!!!! *laughs*
Anyway yeah....when are the Gifts going to be turned off or will they just auto update on chars 30 days old or more when the char turns 30 days?

I checked characters on several accounts and shards today and none of them received Valentine's Day gifts when I logged them in.
It seems they are already turned off.
I think before Mr Tact left he added code so that holiday gifts stop without the need of a publish. Remember when Christmas gifts from the previous year got handed out automatically because they forgot they put in that code?

I think the Eggs are cute, too. Lots of different kinds for adopting!
I'm hoping that:
1. My character isn't buggy.
2. She turns 30, days that is, before the Gifts are turned off.

Oh, I also was still getting gifts 2 days ago on an old account I reactivated. Hopefully they aren't really turned off cause I wasn't finished collecting.

Just tried this - even moved a few to New Haven and tried again - did not work for me but might for others.
I am not getting any gifts either
have tried the open bank and relogging and relogging again.
No luck.

Anyone heard about the gift turn off for certain?? It didn't even go for a month.
They probably had it set to turn the Vday gifts off on March 1st. It seems that this thread started right after...
Still haven't received gifts on my character in question.
She might still have a few days until she hits 30 days, though. I'll keep checking, unless I hear that the gifts have been turned off already.

I love my Dragon.... such a nice looking one.. grew so quickly...

Well, that was short-lived. In the past, they always gave us about 30 days before any gifts were turned off. I'm not sure why they changed it for Valentines' gifts this year, but it sure does suck.

Same here. Several characters on multiple accounts. And still no word from anyone "official". Surprise.
I too had trouble getting gifts on some of my characters. They are all older than a month, most by far. I found several solutions worked. First, I logged in, then out, then in. Sometimes this fixed the problem. if this didn't work, I performed some type of action ingame, such as completing an escort in New Haven, then logged out and back in. Third, sometimes I needed to buy something ingame from an npc, log out, then in. Each one of these activities worked sometimes, and among them I managed to get all gifts, with the exception of one character who hasn't gotten a gift no matter what I did. lol
Have you tried since the 1st? I have a couple characters that
are around 35 days now and have done all of the above and
didn't recieve gifts either.
I'm thinking also they got turned off or there is some really
wierd bug out there.

I was wanting to change my elven stealther's skin color, so did elf to human and then human to elf, but wasn't sure about which hair and skin to choose, so left her naked and human and went to test shard to try some elven skin colors out.
We just reactivated my daughter's account yesterday, her main is 2 years old and none of her chars got valentines boxes. She tried logging in and out multiple times, checking other shards, nothing.
So I am on test shard, making new characters over and over to find a new elf skin color, when all of a sudden char number 6 I see a Valentines box pop into her backpack.
The first five chars didn't get the box.
I told my daughter to get on test and see if she could get the boxes. She made three characters and char two and three got boxes but not char number one.
I assumed that there was a problem with the program and they were working on it, but she still didn't get any boxes on the real shards.
We just hadn't got around to complaining about it yet.

no... stuff like this isnt important enough to get an official response.... however other things seem to get a lot more attention. so in otherwords dont hold your breath.

Everyone who didn't receive any Valentines boxes needs to page a GM ingame AND fill out a feedback form over at UOherald.com.
If they did turn it off without telling us then at least maybe they will learn from the pages and the feedback that in future they should inform us when they turn off events.

I did the feedback forum the first day of this thread. I requested that they let us know if this is a bug or as intended. I did not bother to page a GM because I suspect you would get the "we cannot replace lost items" reply but post here if you have any luck with that. Perhaps they are all white stuffies and that is why they are holding them back.............

Still no Gift for my Sweetleaf...
I've tried Logging in her house, at the Inn, banking and buying from a vendor, switching servers, switching facets....still no gift.
I'm sad. =(
This is entirely my fault - somehow I left the relevant bit out of both the patch notes and the events page, but the gifts were only given out til March 1. I'm terribly sorry for everyone who didn't log in in time - again, entirely my fault.

Regardless of whose fault it was, that's not much consolation for those of us who didn't claim our stuffies on time, is it?
Slightly more than 2 weeks to claim an in-game item? Yeah, that sucks. And with no warning.. nice screwing for Valentines, I reckon.

I play on Chessy, though. I did get a V-Day gift on Littleblue, just not Sweetleaf. I'm alright with that, was just curious, hehe.
Probably 2 weeks is not long enough...some take vacations that last that long...I would say 4 weeks is better, for future holidays. =)
when these first came out, i had a character (my main) that didnt get a box, then like 5 days after the event launched he got one. All the others got them on day one.
Perhaps is a bug, keep logging in and checking

Normally they are handed out for 30 days. That way as long as your char was created before the gift giving you could get one (unless your a bugged one who never gets anything lol).
