Terra Keep - Ophidian Orders etc

Did someone say you can still get these? I wasn't around when this event initially happened, but i went to the low level of the terra keep and cleaned it out a couple of times but haven't found anything out of the ordinary on the corpses.

Is it just the drop rate is quite low?

Some shards still have ophidian stuff going on in the terra keep. I dont remember which one. That drop rate isnt bad but the terra keep is quite busy with monsters.

In the low level where ophids are located, there is a single balron spawn, am i in the right place?

How would i know if the event is still active?

The monsters are grey, should they be red like the shadow whisps etc?

Access through Terra keep ruins to fair left of ruins.

Not the champ spawn I think you might be talking about.

This is a mess of ohpidians and terras fighting each other. There will be red ophidain corporals, sargents, and generals. All red.

Yes thats it.
I havent pushed to balron I take it.
If there are no red ophids there then they have been cleared.

Best bet is probably FEL version.

I took that picture before clearing the area a few times.

There was no red spawn, only grey.

I'll check out the fel area at some point, cheers raven.

You get ophidain rations (common), Ophidian orders (mid range), and Ophidain Journals (rarer of them all)

All fall on corpses. So keep checking.
And I dont believe its just red ones. There on all of them if the red ophids are still active.

I cant remember. But I have so many ophidian rations, I think they had to come on the regular guys too. I just didnt kill that many red ones. Maybe orders, rations, and journals fell differently. Ah well.

ok, by "red" ones there is obviously some confusion here... the orders rations bardiches and whatnot come off of any of the ophidians with a "RED NAME" and in that name it will say [recruit] [major] etc... next to it, there are some higher level ophidians such as the [generals] (and i believe a couple other ones too) that they themselves are red in color....

also, in those pictures it is the right area however that spot has been cleared already, they are only in certain areas on certain shards that have not been cleared out yet, mainly the smaller shards, last i checked they are still in the tram side of terra keep on Lake Austin, i have heard they are still in papua on some of the real small shards like Balhae... if u play a highly populated shard then i wouldnt expect to find any

yeah more likely to find remnants of the event spawen in fel then tram as much less fought there.

As long as the terra keep spawn isn't popped then it's not TOO bad.....fighting alone down there is tricky though, and runnin out through the starrroom with all your goodies PRAYIN noone is in there...*laughs* it's fun.

I havn't checked outside Tera Keep in Fel tho....

In Fel the army spawns outside the keep around the ladder to go down.

Just checked on Chesapeake on my stealther ... I didn't bother checking Trammel, since Chessie is a pretty active shard and I'm sure anything Trammel-side got wiped out. So, my character made his first foray into Felucca! http://boards.stratics.com/php-bin/shared/images/graemlins/smile.gif

There were some non-event Ophidian spawns on my way to the keep, and then an enormous glut of event mobs at the exterior. I made my way to the ladder, and checked around inside ... took quite a while, but there were no spawns of event mobs indoors -- just the ones by the entrance top-side.

Even when I was two or more screens off of any monsters in the 'event spawn zone,' I would periodically get revealed, even while standing still. Fortunately, I had a skinning knife with me so I was able to just use Shadowstrikes to keep getting back hidden if I couldn't use Hiding (no Ninjitsu for smoke bombs). I managed to kill a few Recruit-level Ophidians, and got 10x rations. http://boards.stratics.com/php-bin/shared/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The Terathran will occasionally spawn in as Avengers, which are actually able to go toe-to-toe with the event spawn. Any mob that dies as a result of the combat between the two monster factions is freely lootable, but any Ophidian killed by a Terathran will have its corpse despawn as soon as any other mob does the *rummage* action on it.

I killed one Corporal, but didn't get anything special on it, and I loitered around some Avengers to loot other killed Corporals/Majors before they despawned but still just rations. I'm sure the orders and journals are still spawning, but you'll probably need friends to kill the stronger mobs in the numbers you'd have to.

All-in-all, a fun way to spend my afternoon and cut the teeth of my Master Swordsman/Stealther, and I have 10x rations that I wouldn't have otherwise since I started playing after that event technically 'ended.' http://boards.stratics.com/php-bin/shared/images/graemlins/smile.gif

all gone on cats, both fel and tram far as I can tell. Ended up getting swarmed by avengers and a nightmare inside keep on fel side and wandered around as a ghost for awhile. Didn't see any

Legends tram doesnt either, and I dont think LA does either now - someone wan to confirm that?

Confirmed on Origin. They mighta pulled the spawn to keep people from farming the items...good call on their part tbh *grins*
