Ok in the no category for house category, what objects cant you use and use? Say if I have a money object and a skill object can I use them both on the same property if it is in No Category?

No, the money items can only be used on money lots. Skill items can be used on any lot, but the gain is slower on non-skill lots.
Selecting the "No Category" category, keeps you from using any category specific items at all. Like the love bed and tub (Romance), the vibrating bed (Residential), the crafting bench (Service), the DJ booth and the dance tiles (Entertainment), and of course single and group money objects (Money).*
Basically, not chosing a category blocks you from all the top lists and the special features, like motive gain/loss speed, that you get with different categories, as well as special items.

The Casino items used to be in Games category, before they were nerfed.
