Hey, We have a problem in TC3. Today, nothing is giving any money. We work our required shifts, and the whole time we don't get any money. We play games that should give us money, but we don't get any money. What is going on? I don't have money for food. I go by money, Job to job. If I don't have any money, and Sims aren't making money to live off of. What are we suppose to do? We work for money, but at the end of the shift we don't get anything. The window pops up about how much we should be getting, but the money doesn't change at all. This isn't nice. I work hard all the time at the robot factory, exspecting to get that money. I try to stay the whole shift.. I don't understand this. It isn't right. What is the problem? Same problem here too.
I got my 275 for the first shift, but the next two I didnt get didley squat. I left after the third because I didn't want to waste my time.
This is pretty inconvienient, what with the lowering of the payouts per money objects. Kinda funny how apparently money object pay was lowered to encourage ppl to get a job...and now the job doesnt pay anything!!!
Same thing happened to me two days in a row. I got paid for the first shift and then nothing after that. I got another job and I got nothing there either. What a pain! I hope it's fixed soon!

Your not the only one. The problem seems to have started after the announcement of robot factory update (what they updated i have no idea) but i have discovered the following problems. Let me know if any fall true to you.
1: No income earned, although indicated while working Robot Factory
2: No income earned from Money Objects, although indictated (Potions,
Preserves, Chalkboard, etc)
3: Reduced income earned indicated from Money Objects (TC3) (Values were
higher earlier in the morning yesterday then plummeted in the evening to
values similar to EA-Land)
4: Placement of Money objects, (Most notably CBR (code breaker)) or
movement of such items results in what i can only call "Disintegration" or
the item breaks apart and becomes unusable and a total loss.
also i was asking around thos ppl who are getting paid the reduced rates are either not subscribers or do not have a sim in EA-Land. I have tested this theory and found it to be accurate. I created a 2nd account and only selected free status. That sim makes money but still at the reduced rate. however my primary account of which i have a sim in TC3 and EAL has become income capped and cannot make money using any means.
Im an orig. founder so im used to such sudden changes. But i would hope that if this is a planned occurrence and not a glitch/bug that it would be listed somewhere.

Has anyone reported this? I do not see a thread on it in Technical Advise forum (http://boards.stratics.com/php-bin/sims/postlist.php?Cat=&Board=tsotech).
If you are getting a message that a certain amount of money has been earned, but no money is added to your total, then that sounds like a bug. When the money objects were lowered, they did not give false amounts....you got what it said you did.
Please report the problem with the details either in the Tech forum or here on the Wiki bug reports page. (http://www.game-blueprints.com/webMathematica/wiki/wiki.jsp?pageName=How_to_submit_a_bug)
actually i did post, but because it was my first post at TSO-E and the Wiki my posts have to be reviewed before its posted.
Anyway:
Updating: As of 7:14 pm after the most recent update the issue is still not resolved fyi. ill be posting further where you designated

It's now Mar 3rd. And now we can't even go to work here on TC3....

I still can't get TO the job. I'm a paying account and it tells me jobs are for paying players only. What gives?

yeah, i've had the same problem for the last two days with all my sims in tc3 that work...can't work cause I'm not a subscriber...geeez, only been a subscriber for 3 years.

I can't go to work at dean of diners. It says its for paying players only but im a freeplayer in TC3. Whats going on?

I can't either and have tried all my accounts! I had heard about others having this problem a few days ago. Bummerz, wanted to work a sim today in TC3.
ANYONE heard what is going on with this error ?

Is the error that "jobs are for only paying players" coming to everyone, or is it really that free players can't go to job in TC3?

I think everyone is getting it. Free players I believe are not restricted in TC3, so they can work.

It works now.
We're able to go to work again on TC3
