I'm sad to say that this morning, at 7:12 AM, Charles M., a good friend of our family, has passed away. He was 94. I think it's amazing that he lived such a good life, caring about others, and he was a well respected friend because of that. He always helped us out, particularly when delivering flowers from my aunt's flower shop or whenever we just needed a ride somewhere. Whenever we needed someone to talk to, he was always there.

Just yesterday when I was walking home from school, I was thinking, "Hey, wonder if I should give Charles a call" and I never got the chance to pick up that phone, and just say hi.

Charles M., may you forever rest in peace, and be surrounded by those you love.

Wow 94, thats wonderful really. My mom recently went to the 100th birthday of a family friend, she was really impressed that the woman remembered that my grandmother was her grade school teacher. She died last week, and as sad as that is we are comforted that she lived a long life and kept he mental faculties up til the end.

Its always hard to say goodbye to someone we care about, but when they lived a long and happy life its a tiny bit easier. *hugs*
