View Full Version : Custom Content file size limits
I see the IMAGE file size limit is 100kb. Is there a limit on sculptures, tables, or chairs? My problem is the counters I want to create to make my diner are at 143kb, it looks like it will let me order them. Just don't want to lose them because it kicks back at me and says over limit. Any help is appreciated.

I just uploaded a pic and the file size was 96.5 KB but in EAL it said it was 120.7 ..... I still uploaded but paid $600 for it.... ? Whats with that ?
yea that is the problem, an iff file is two files combined, mesh and skin. Perhaps that explains why some of my custom content isn't approved after 4 days of waiting. Will we get a notice stating "not approved"?
I am not sure there actually is a file size limit at this point in time, but I do know, the bigger the file, the more it costs. When doing picsicles *.jpg images seem to be smaller than both *.bmp and *.png and will save you quite a bit of simoleans.
I am wondering if there is a problem with the approval process again. I got one thing yesterday approved, that I uploaded yesterday, but am still waiting on two others I had uploaded the night before.

The file size limit for Sculptures, Tables and Chairs are 250k, I believe. If your file is too large, it will show your size in redtext and not allow you to upload.
Also, the size is usually smaller in the upload window, than what it shows on your computer.

Custom content is in high speed now, before the 3:15 pm maintenance today I uploaded some content, and was amazed it was there at 3:45 pm.
