"While the &lt;a href="www.ealandmania.net " target="_blank"&gt;www.ealandmania.net &lt;/a&gt; sigs are a nice addition, I am afraid that stacking 2 separate images exceeds the limits of the stratics RoC."

Please do not stack or chain these siggies together, and please direct all comments on these siggies to this thread: EA-Land Mania Signature Creator Siggies (http://boards.stratics.com/php-bin/sims/postlist.php?Cat=&amp;Board=tsogeneral).

Thank you.

That URL links back to just the main board....I'm gonna have to find the thread and I'll repost

Edit: Here (http://boards.stratics.com/php-bin/sims/showflat.php?Cat=&amp;Number=723044&amp;page=0&amp;view=collap sed&amp;sb=5&amp;o=&amp;fpart=1) it is in the Sig &amp; Avie forum. Gonna go add my comments there.

Edit 2: That thread is locked, so we can't add comments there. Does that mean its not up for discussion or can somebody make a thread there for discussion? There's a rule too about making a thread about a locked thread so I didn't wanna do it and end up breaking the RoC again, but yeah I'd like to see a place to discuss it rather than people having to bombard Aster with PMs. I directed most of my comments on it to Gilly, and I'm not mad but I can see room for alot of other people to get upset, particularly since this means a person can't show both their sim and their lot, which is free advertising.

I have moved your post here, because this is the forum to discuss the Stratics signature rules in. You may want to edit your subject title. http://boards.stratics.com/php-bin/shared/images/graemlins/smile.gif

This is a Stratics wide signature rule, to help keep the site loading smoothly for everyone.
<font color="blue">Stratics Rules of Conduct</font> (http://boards.stratics.com/php-bin/sims/STroc.php)

Please adhere to the following restriction for images that are not directly related to the topic of the thread under discussion:

- Maximum size of image file(s): 50k (51,200) bytes
- Maximum height of image(s): 125 pixels
- Maximum width of image(s): 600 pixels

"Stacking" the siggies exceeds the height limits. Chaining them side by side (unless they are 'resized') exceeds the width limits.

OMG does this mean that there's been updates to the database so that posts can be separated (and merged maybe) since this post was originally in the Connectivity thread that already existed and I added to it? Whoa, I've never seen this done here, this is great! http://boards.stratics.com/php-bin/shared/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I hope no offense was taken by that post, it's just that I had thought about making the post in the Game Advice forum that I did go ahead and make anyway, but it just would have been cooler if a person wanting to advertise his not-currently-popular lot by having a lot siggie from TSOM, and also his main avatar siggie from the same site, though thinking about it the owner of the house's name is listed on the lot siggies, so the avatar can still be searched out that way as well, which is why I went ahead and made the post in the Game Advice forum about the free advertising.

Suggestions about the EA-Land Mania signatures should go to the webmaster there.

Unless Stratics changes the signature rules site-wide (which might happen sometime, but won't happen this week,) as Gilly has said - stacking the two very attractive EA-Land signatures on top of each other or side by side exceeds the Stratics signature limits.

No we can not merge, edit or seperate/isolate a post from the thread it is in, but we can move a single post (and any replies to it) to another forum. We do have the ability to move a post that is a different topic to a more appropriate forum, if it is already isolated from the rest of the thread subject (completely off-topic with no replys attached to it that reference the original thread), and doing so is not going to just hopelessly confuse the poster. http://boards.stratics.com/php-bin/shared/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I figured you could handle it. http://boards.stratics.com/php-bin/shared/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It is not a practical thing to do in most cases.....it would just confuse things with some posts being about the origianal thread and some about the moved post. It also keeps the original thread title......http://boards.stratics.com/php-bin/shared/images/icons/more/disturbed.gif

Which is why I suggested you edit it....since it makes little connection to the subject of your post or *this* discussion. http://boards.stratics.com/php-bin/shared/images/graemlins/smile.gif
