No question there are many juvenile idiots who post on Stratics, but the good and helpful people by far outweigh the bad, so don't let it discourage you... http://boards.stratics.com/php-bin/shared/images/graemlins/wink.gif
I'll agree there are some people on here that love to stir up the pot, however there are more that are willing to help.
In your last posting where you took exception to a poster thinking she was laughing at you, if you look at her post, it is in response to one made by Polly. I don't see where she was laughing at you.
Sometimes when we get frustrated we don't always read what we see, ME INCLUDED, as we are only looking for what we want to see. Step back for a second, take a deep breath, relax and give the boards another try.

no she helped me was not polly. i thanked her for letting me know what was wrong had to delete two sims in tc3 to see the two that are misssing as can only have 6
no i didn't think it was polly laughing at you. In fact i didn't think anyone was, it was "my belief" that the poster was making a remark towards Maxis, NOT YOU. I might be wrong, but i would much rather look at it this way than it being directed at you. Hang in there and check your IM's

Sometimes when reading replies in a thread in flat view, it can be confusing as to who is talking to who - the whole thing looks like it is in reply to the original poster. But if you click "threaded" for view, you can see really easily which reply was made to which post. It shows the whole chain of posts within a thread.
This all probably sounds like mumbo jumbo unless you have a visual. On every thread at the very top near the first post, there is a row of buttons that starts with one for hiding and showing signatures. In that row of buttons will be one that says "Threaded" if you are currently in flat mode. If you are in threaded mode, then the button says "Flat." Using that button, you can toggle between the two views.
I hope this helps clear up any confusion there might be coming from the way the posts appear on the screen.

I totally agree with you and I'm done too. The inmates are running the asylum. The moderators are letting certain ppl belittle other people and aren't enforcing the rules. It's the same ppl time and time again and I'm sick of reading it. Whenever I see a noob in game I will warn them to run as fast as possible away from stratics. I feel so bad when I see a new person come here and ask a question or make a simple comment and get made fun of cause they spelled a word wrong or whatever they did that can be made fun of. There is a difference between and joke and making fun of ppl. There has to be something seriously wrong with ppl if they have fun belittling people and embarrassing them. I'm just glad the name I chose here is not the same as my name in game. I'm now embarrassed to be associated with a site like this.
I hope I didn't spell a word wrong here cause I know I'll be made fun of if I did!
