Someone is asking me in IM why they can't download the client (errors) and wondered if it was a problem with Vista. I asked several people in chat tonight who said that it's not Vista compatible. True? Will there be a Vista client soon?

I run Connector on Vista just fine.. there shouldn't be a problem. Please have the person having the download problem post here or email connector@stratics.com with the text of the error messages.

I used 64 bit Vista just fine.

The client should work fine in Vista with no issues.
Have been able to test it on the following with no issues:
Win XP SP2
Win XP SP3
Vista Home Basic
Vista Home Premium
Vista Ultimate
Vista x64 Business
With and Without SP1
They have all worked fine

If this is Cyric you are talking about, then I suspect nothing less than a visit to a gynaecologist would get 'his' problem worked out :(
Also, we need to encourage more people to get into chat at specific times. Perhaps organise some kind of event or broadcast ?
This would be in order to conduct a mass test for problems.

Ok let me clarify the issue. It was not a vista compatibility issue with the client.
I like many users do not have my Admin account turned on on my PC. I have other people on my computer that I do not want to allow to make system changes. In order to use an .msi installer package in vista you have to turn on the admin account and use it to install. It isn't a huge problem other than the program has no certificate.

You can't on the installer program itself. You have to run the command prompt as admin, and activate the admin account, then log out, and then log into the admin account to install the program.
