Thermodynamics

I cant find any explicit stated benefits for advancing this past level 1. Does anyone know if there is a benefit? Like decreased heat damage when overloaded?

Not sure - I dont use thermodynamics - Dont like new stuff am old school ;)
Imo skills and better items still counter it - If a fight is decided by thermodynamics its bloody close anyway.
Afaik it reduces damage the modules take.

Thanks. I figured that, but I cant find anywhere that explicitly states it as an attribute. Theres been moments where just that little bit was all I needed. Like when my drake got popped .00001 seconds before I activated a jumpgate. =D
