Default More fun at da casino..

I had money burning a hole in my pocket, plus all of these coupons that expired at the end of the month for freebies, so I went out to good old Mohegan Sun this morning. I made video that explains much of the experience:

Fun with Penny Slots

That's right, I actually left with more money than what I came with!

More info on the little old lady at the buffet. She saw me in line and came up behind me and told me to put my money away. This one was on her! She had two free buffet coupons and the other would go to waste if she didn't use it, so she gave it to me. Then she goes "Let's go honey"! She wanted to sit alone, but it was the kindest thing. The waitress thought maybe she was trying to pick me up..haha I gave the waitress a $5 tip since it didn't cost me a dime to eat. After I finished eating I went over to the ladie's table and thanked her again. She started going through her purse trying to see if she had any other free buffet coupons that I could have! What a nice old lady.

So I won money and ate for free thanks to the kindness of that lady. Good times!

My next gambling venture won't be until the last week of August. My dad is going to have the whole week off, due to lack of work. The first time that's happened to him in 18 years! He originally wanted to go to Vegas, but airfare was kinda pricey. So I mentioned that I can get a free room at the Borgata in AC. Both my parents are all for that, as they've never been to the Borgata. I'm treating them, as it's my moms 50th birthday on Monday. Should be a fun trip!

You have some great luck at the casinos Kenny! I rarely come home with more money then I went there with. LOL! Its fun though so I don't mind. We were thinking of going up there for the airshow August 19th but still am not sure on that one. Last year we got to sit in the VIP area of the Borgato and dine and drink for free while we watched. This year they raised the standards to Platinum card carriers only. Since I am the lowly red card owner that leaves me out. If we go we might have to slum it on the beach in our own lawnchairs and bring a cooler. gasp!

Yeah I got an offer for mystery slot dollars for the air show that day. Someday we'll be in the cool Black Label club and can go hang out in their cool lounge and fancy parties. If you get your husband to let you gamble away $50,000 in a year you can be eligible. Then you can take me as a guest! (Good luck, with that..haha)

The beach shouldn't be too bad, just go down farther like from Bally's to the Tropicana/Hilton area. The beach isn't as eroded. When I walked down past Taj last time it was very sad. They had about enough for 10 chairs deep until it was water. If you go, have fun!

It's funny since I played at Harrah's last time they sent me an offer for a Free Room in Las Vegas at Bally's, Harrah's, The Rio, or Imperial Palace for one night. Which is Wow, but the room's there are already cheap to begin with. Not thinking I'm going to make it for that. If they included the airfare I'd be all over that like a hot fudge brownie over ice cream!

Edited to add on August 4th, 2009:

Now it turns out I'm going to AC solo on the 27th! My dad's company is now going to work that week. Also my boss called today asking me to work the rest of the week. So that's good news, but I put in for vacation for the 27th-28th, so I'll still be going. Hopefully it turns back into a full-time deal!

So then I was like, well I should stay the Friday night too. I called up the My Borgata Rewards center just to inquire on how much it would cost to extend my stay. They wanted full regular price of $299.00 a night. I almost laughed at her and just said I wanted to keep my free stay on the 27th and I'll get back to them if interested on the 28th. I realize it's a Friday night, but I guess my Risque Business play is not enough to warrant a discounted rate! The rooms are nice, but not nice enough for $300 a night, especially going by myself. I could stay at Harrah's for $230, but ahh even that's a bit steep. So I'm just going to stick with the 27th and get my freebie.

I did this at Harrah's. I was there for 20 minutes and I hit this. Wowee, I did indeed though take it all home wit me!

I got mad at the WOF game, so I played maxed bet of $2.25 a spin and got a ton of free spins, which in the end was 2,800 nickles or $140.

4 of a kind at Video Poker in Trump Plaza. Only 125 credits, or $31.25. But 4OAK is pretty hard to get in VP so I was happy.

I got lost in Caesars and ended up on the walkway over the boardwalk. I was like "Oh HI"!

The view from my 36th floor room at the Borgata. Notice the small pools at the "Water Club". I watched people try to move around in that place, didn't look inviting at all. You'd think they would have put a huge pool in where the parking lot is at. I want to stay in that tower sometime, they have the cool rain shower in the ceiling in those rooms. Doesn't get any better than that..haha

Overall, I came home with some Benjamins in the wallet and was only down about $100. But I had $30 in free food and the free room, so all in all I'm ahead. Best way to end a trip!

Oh Disney, I'm jealous! I forgot about that, I was thinking you went in June, but never heard anything about it. I'll plan on my next trip to be in November. I'm good all month, except I'm in a wedding on Sat. Nov 7th. You pick the date and most likely I'll be there! Risque Business better watch out..haha

I got an offer yesterday for (2) Free tickets to Carlos Mencia this Sunday night. The kicker is since it's Labor Day weekend, Sunday night is $330 to stay. They make me laugh! lol

I went to Disney in June also. We have been going twice a year now for a while but this will probably be our last year for twice trips. I did get lucky when we checked in in June. I booked a wood view at the Wilderness Lodge and got a free upgrade to concierge. Was awesome! All I had to do was ask for another Yuengling and it magically appeared. We are staying at the Grand Floridian this time and hope to get another concierge surprise. LOL!

We never go to AC on weekends. Too crowded and can't get a table or the machine we want. It will definitely be two weekdays. I am not bringing my daughter this time but am bringing a friend who is a former TT player. And yes, look out Risque Business!

So you didn't stay at Pop Century then, you twisted your daughter's arm for that? Concierge, oo la la! Just do the $20 trick. Hand them a $20 bill and ask if any upgrades are available. I heard it works sometimes, but the other times they will just say no and take your $20! Was going to try it at Borgata last time, but didn't want to press my luck since it was free haha

Speaking of Yuengling, I forget to mention the scene I saw. I was walking by the Living Room at Borgata and saw some younger people, probably around my age, with a 12 pack of beer and some hard lemonade. They were trying to enter to get to the elevator and this older woman security guard seemed offended by all this alcohol. She goes "how many people are registered to your room?!" "Two" they answered. "Two and you have a 12 pack of beer and all this stuff?!" I didn't get to see the outcome, but that was none of her business what they planned to do with it! If she would have seen all the diet coke, water, carmel fudge bars, and potato chips I had in my luggage she probably would have called for backup!

Well have fun with Mickey and enjoy your trip! I'm cool with going on the weekdays too, I work mainly now whenever they need me. Some weeks it's only one day, the next it's 3 days, maybe 2 days. However I still got like 9 vacation days to use before Thanksgiving, so I'll be able to go at least paid!

Tomorrow I'm going down to Hollywood to use my $30 in free play. I get another $30 after the 15th too. Plus I think I have enough comps for a free lunch buffet, so ahh I got nothin to lose. Any winnings will go to the AC funds fo sho!

We were supposed to stay at Pop Century but just couldn't do it. I really wanted a Magic Kingdom hotel. My daughter was not happy that I changed to the Wilderness Lodge but changed her mind after learning what concierge was all about. She loved having access to as many desserts as her heart desired. There were also bunk beds in the room that she liked.

Wow, those women at the Borgata do need to mind their own business. What's a 12 pack between 2 people anyway? I think my daughter and I drank double that the night we hung out. LOL!

Good luck at Hollywood tomorrow. Win big so you can treat us all to breakfast at the Bread and Butter.

It was a fun trip, the weather couldn't have been better. Played with this poor $20 bill that was so used and abused, must have been in the system for 15 years! However, that $20 bill kept me going on a roller coaster ride for about 45 minutes. I had it doubled to $40 and then down to $15. I ended the ride with $22. $2 profit..woo. Then I was third in line for the buffet opening and had $10 in comps for the $13 buffet. So, $3 for lunch, can't beat that!

The food was ok, since it was all fresh. However, the dessert bar PWNS at this place. Sometime I just want to go and eat just dessert. I selected a nice piece of Oreo Cheesecake..

Beware, Food Pron follows....

Click the image to open in full size.

I went back for seconds it was so good. It was worth the half tank of gas just for that! Then after lunch I played VP with my $30. Ended up with only $21 after that, which I in turn played slots with and went down to $5. Took that $5 to the roulette machine and put $2 on red and even, hit 36 Red and won $4. Hoping to get to $10, I put $1 on black and lost that. Took my $8 and hit the road!

So I didn't win big, nor did I lose. Well I lost, with their money!

I'll probably go back after the 15th for some more cheesecake, I'll try for more Bread and Butter money!

I made the casino my ATM today!
I got called by my boss yesterday asking me to work the rest of this week, which is excellent. However I had a haircut appointment at 12:30 today, so she let me just work till noon. No biggy. I got my hair cut, and like those chicks from the Ax commercial, I have girl approved hair! My stylist said so.

Anyway, so after wards I hopped on down to Hollywood to use my second $30 in free play this month. First off, Oh Em Gee a lot of people were there at 2:30pm on a Tuesday afternoon. Mostly old people, but still! They are taking your retirement...lol But who am I to judge! I went on this mission swearing that I would play the $30, and whatever I won I'd cash out and leave. Arrived a bit before 2:30pm. Went to Video Poker, loaded my credits, played all $30 through. I won $26.25. I put all the tickets into a regular slot machine and did go for one lucky pull to cash out with an even $25. That pull was no good, but I got my $25, ran to the cash machine, and got my $25! A quick trip over to the self service fountain for a diet coke which I took with me straight to the door and to the parking garage. I won! I took $25 out of that place, yeah! The reason I say it was an ATM, as in all reality it probably cost me $20 in gas to drive there, so we might as well say we went to the ATM and took the money out. BUT, I had to take the chance of winning more. I'm sure they won't take too kindly me not playing any of my own money, but oh well! They took enough of my money, so it was time for revenge..

Girl approved hair. ROFL! Have to see this! Well you cant have all the luck there. I need some luck too. We've had a horrible week here so am looking forward to a casino trip.

I don't think I will be going to WDW after all. My son was in a car accident on the 4th. He completely shattered his ankle to where the only thing holding it on to the leg was his skin and muscle. We spent 4 days in shock trauma before he came home for another 6 days. He had to wait for the swelling to go down before they could operate. He had surgery finally yesterday am where they put in plates and pins. I am not even sure when they will release him at this point. I know after taking care of him at home for 6 days that I am so ready for a vacation but I'm not sure he will be in good enough shape to be left for long periods of time alone. We'll see.

I do know that November and that Borgata trip can't get here soon enough. If you thought we drank a lot before, just you wait. LOL!

Oh my! I remember on the night that it happened Rachel posted about it on Facebook. The days after she went into some of the trauma fiasco and getting a prescription after most pharmacies were closed. Sounded stressful, and I wondered how he was. I would imagine that would take a lot of therapy to get the ankle used to all the metal. Just thinking about it that sounds painful. I wish him the best of a speedy recovery, that has to be frustrating.

Hopefully it all works out in the end, and as much as missing WDW stinks, it will make your next trip that much sweeter!

I decided at the end of work today that I deserved an overnighter on Sunday in AC, as I've been a trooper this week actually WORKING. It's been rough getting up at 5:45am every morning and following a schedule again. (I know, cry me a river..lol) $25 in Free Food and $30 in Free Play, sounds like a good enough deal to laze around on Sunday down there. I don't plan on gambling much, just enough to make them happy to keep the room comp'd. I also noticed when booking the room that I can now get free rooms up until 12/30/09, woohoo. Harrah's keeps sending me free nights in Vegas, but nada for AC. I could get the cheapest skanky room for $69, while I can stay at the Borg for free. They can keep it! I'll still be at the Sunday events, I gotta stretch my cheap gambling budget out as much as I can..haha

I'll drink one for ya Terry!!

So I indeed did make it down to Atlantic City today. A very smooth ride, with no little slow downs through Philadelphia. Arrived at the Borgata around 1:45pm. At check in the guy only had one king room available, and it was on the fourth floor. People must wait for a higher floor, but I had my luggage and didn't really care what I look at. It turned out to be a lovely view of the air conditioning units, but you can still see some of the marina and the ocean in the background. Ahh, again for free, who cares! I just hung out this afternoon and watched TV. Went down with $40 and didn't do much, a nice hit on Risque Business though, however no strip. Came back up to the room and showered. The shower door is like crooked now and it didn't close correctly. So I had a minor flood on the floor after that. Went back down and got my $30 in free play which I turned into $35. Had a tuna melt at Bread N Butter, it was freaking awesome. The guy loaded it with tuna.

After this experience I chilled and then went to the boss battle. Now I started this trip with just $200 in gambling budget. So at this point I had $160 to gamble with, not including the $35 I won. That was mad money to go home with. I had the casino floor, HARD. I couldn't lose, I just kept getting bonus rounds and retriggers. No big wins, but no losses. Then I wondered over to the nickle Price is Right machine. It ate the first $20. About halfway through the second it hit and totally hit me by surprise. 4,028 Nickles! ($201.40)!! I just won my whole gambling budget back! I took a picture of it, I'll post it when I get home to my card reader.

Next I found myself at the EBay community machine with two old ladies and two younger women. The old ladies had no clue what was going on and were plowing away at $2.50 a spin. I was betting minimum at $.50. So when the community bonus started, they had like 5X and I had 2X the win. I had this up over $100. Bonus and more bonuses. Eventually it turned on us and I blew about $75 with nothing. But I was still working off the original $20, who heck yeah! More comps for me..

Went for my normal late evening snack of pizza at Villa Pizza, free of course! Then I worked my way up to the room here about 11:25pm. I have $20 set aside for the morning stroll to get breakfast. Hopefully I can double that. Even if I lose it I still stand to bring home a small profit of about $30. Booyah!

Booyah is right! That's awesome! I live vicariously through your AC trip reports. LMAO! I need a fix really bad right now. Can't wait to November. Ths time we will be following you machine to machine to see how lucky we get. LOL!

Anything at Bread and Butter is delicious. I love their breakfast sandwiches and their ham and cheese is to die for!

Edited to add that we are thinking of going to AC November 16th for one night. Let me know if that looks ok to you. I still have to check with my mother and her friend and of course my friend who is going too. Trying to get two old ladies set on a date is hard. They have their numerous doctors, hairdressers, and line dancing appointments. LOL! It is still tenative but hoping for that date. If not good then give me better dates you can join us.

Casino story time, AGAIN!
Today I was to invite my parents along for lunch at Timbers Buffet at Mohegan Sun, but they couldn't make it. So I decided to make it into a small gambling event, but my main objection was going for LUNCH. I had $5 Coupon + $4 in comps from my last visit.

I rolled up in the Pocono Downs at a lil past 11:30am. I witnessed an older gentlemen being helped off of a wheelchair lift by a casino host. Once they got him down, she pushed him probably at least 15 MPH to the door. Heck she beat me! Then I heard her ask how much money he had to spend. Poor guy, hope she took him to a winning machine!

A $20 bill into a penny WOF machine turned into $33, so I cashed that out. This voucher will play out the rest of the day, well the end of the event. I took just $100, from the $200 I brought back from AC. Plus I had $15 in freebie play, which I turned into $16.25 on video poker. A long story short while I was in the older parlor area with the video poker, I ended up dropping $40 in cash. This made me sad as I was ahead, and thought I was on a roll, and then I ended up giving it back to them. Well that place isn't built on winners, so what are you gonna do!

Time for the best part, LUNCH. If you've never been to a Wolfgang Puck Express, I highly recommend them. It's the main place in the food court here, and I've been trying to sample everything from the menu. This time I decided on a Red Pepper and Italian Sausage 9" pizza for $9.95. With the birch beer I also got, it cost me $3 in cash after comps and coupon. Cheap Eatin Yo! In about 10 minutes the friendly server came by with me pizza:

It was totally worth the price, believe it or not, I ate the whole thing!!

The prices are cheap too for other things, most items no more than $12. I had the crispy chicken last time, also awesomo.

Anyway at this point I had that $33 ticket from the WOF, and about $7 in cash. So I was down about $60. Back to the casino floor to get my money back! I had played the Star Wars machine at the Borgata last time, and got some nice bonus, so I saw an open seat at one. I believe I watched you play this at Taj Mahal Terry, the one with the ball at the top that spins and stuff. It's a little different, but the same concept. I played all lines X2 credits for $.60 a spin. When you get the respin bonus, it's not set number of spins. It doesn't stop until these two star wars dudes appear on a payline. The one time I had 36 free spins, insane. When they do appear, you get to spin the wheel. At that point the one whole payline is wild and you find out how many more spins you get. These spins pay out awesome with that wild. I went from $33 up to $50. I was going to stop and be happy with that. I kept on going, up to $75. Kept on going and topped out at $96! CASH OUT. I left this place a few dollars to the good! Going from almost broke to breaking even, is a great feeling.

I indeed left for the car without putting any of it back in. Now the ride home was interesting. The I-81 construction was horrible, 3 lanes merging into 1. The stupid people who won't budge and let people in. Anyway, that took about 30 minutes to get through. Then I make it to I-80 only for that to be backed up. So I get off at the first exit, hoping my GPS would re-route me. Oh boy did it. I ended up on Trailer Lane. Beautiful trailer lane was basically a turn around where these rinky dink trailer homes were on each side of the road. The one porch had a woman, cigarette in hand, carrying a baby, and pregnant. She gave me a weird look. Hey it's not going to be my kid that has problems, don't look at me! Then I went through a nicer upscale development, only for my GPS to re-route back to where I got off. Still backed up, but didn't take long to get through it.

Fun trip, and a great pizza! Until next time..

I had a "Quickie" at the casino today. I wanted to see the new Michael Moore Film-Capitalism: A Love Story. Well none of the theaters nearby were showing it, the closest was in Harrisburg. I'd be 10 miles from Hollywood, so of course I had to go to claim my $8 in free play for the week! With only a 45 minute window, I had to make it quick. The budget for this time killer was $20 and the $8 in free play. In general, I'm behaving myself in October to finish saving for the winter recession, so I had to keep it real here. Then in November I'm going all out, so watch out..haha

Beautiful weather today, it's the weather you could live with all year. 70 degrees, sunny, and cool at night. I snapped this picture of the sun rising on the way to the gym this morning, knew it was going to turn out nice:

Arrived at Hollywood at 1:45pm. The movie was at 3:30pm, 10 minutes away. My first stop was at the roulette machine. $20 in, after a few $1 bets on black, I cashed out with $25. $5 profit. Took my $20 to a $.2 Wolf Run machine. The fireworks were going:

2160 credits ($43.20). Booyah.

Everytime those Wolf's howl, reminds me of the Shakira She Wolf song. Maybe I just like to watch the video, IDK though..lol

Went to video poker to play my $8, ended up with $5 in cash after that play. Off to Gliterrati for a cheesesteak and water for $8. She made a darn good cheesesteak. From here I was to go to the car, but I had a few minutes to spare. So a $20 bill went into a $.05 Wolf Run machine. These are $2.00 a spin, so kinda volatile. Heck nobody was playing them, so they were calling me so they could make someone a winner!

1585 Nickles-$79.25!

I came with $35 in my wallet. Left with $131. After food and everything else, I believe I cleared a $75 profit. Glad I stopped, was worth my time. Thanks again Penn National gaming!

I bought my movie ticket on Fandango before I left. That's pretty slick, my first pre-buying of a movie ticket online. This theater was pimped, had the stadium style seating. The seats reclined and everything!

Overall a fun afternoon. The rest of October is going into my savings account, but again watch out in November!

Hey WB, how as Florida?? I read some of the wild events on Rachel's Facebook. Getting stuck on Splash Mountain and the cabana boy bringing you drinks at 11am! Looked like a fun time.

We decided at the last minute to go. My son was getting around great and is doing awesome. Yes, getting stuck on Splash was a highlight. We got through the log flume part fine but coming around the bend after found us stuck for at least 30 minutes. We were having a good old time in there with the other boats and finally a cast member came by to rescue us. I told Rachel if we have to walk past the briar rabbit scene I wanted to take a pic with her in it. Well, the cast member was taking us past it and I told her to jump in there real fast. She literally heaved herself over to it and I snapped the pic. I will have to get it from her and post it here. It was so funny.

Rachel also has a great death scream. Sounds like someone is killing her. Every time we went through the Haunted Mansion she would let out this blood curdling scream in the dark part. LOL! The people around us must have thought it was all part of the act.

The cabana boy was awesome! We stayed at the Grand Floridian and rented a poolside cabana one day. It came with a flat screen tv, love seats, sofas, stocked fridge, ceiling fans, comfy lounges and best of all our own Cabana Boy! Woot! Roger was at our beck and call all day long. He took away our wet towels all day replacing them with dry ones. He also got all our drinks for us from the pool bar. Wow, we never had such service. Roger rocked! Oh, and he was cute too.

Rachel was really the highlight of our trip. From her dancing the entire dance to Thriller from one end of the resort to the other to her solo A Part of My World in the GF lobby, she was definitely the best entertainment to be had. That girl can sing and dance! Was a great trip.

Haha, sounds like she needs to work at a haunted house during Halloween!

Glad your son is doing well and you got to go, would have been a shame to miss what sounded like a rockin getaway!

I believe I heard Rachel Scream. LOL!! I think Ellie and I was in line for Splash mountain when it shut down. We had our Fast Pass and moving along and get to almost the front and bam a lady comes over the intercom and annoucnes splash mountain is down and we do not know when It will be operating again. That is a great pic of rachel with briar rabbit. I have to say that The splash mountain at disney world is so much better than the one at Disneyland. WE had so much fun at Disney just to dang hot. I cant wait to see what they are doing to space mountain.

We have already booked our trip for March and can't wait to go back. I want to stay at the GFL but I dont think the kids will like it. I also bought into the disney vacation club and we are thinking about staying either at the tree house villas or the new bay lake tower. We bought 500 points so anyone want to rent a place for a week just let me know LOL!!

I am sorry to hear that your son got in a car Accident. I hope that he is doing better. We have had so many traumas this weekend. Gun shots to the head and it really is hard when you have a child to come in that has been shot. Our ICU units are full and they just keep coming into the ED. This winter is going to be very bad.

You probably did hear Rachel scream. LOL! I think we did Haunted Mansion 10 times that week. Glad you had a great trip too! I doubt I will be back to WDW until next Sept-Oct. I always say I am not going to go in Summer again but manage to so we'll see.

Kenny, we are ON for November 16th! Woot! I just hope I get some good luck this time and win a few million. Risque Business here we come.

It's on! Here's the deal. From now until November 16th all of my ChaCha earnings will be going to a special gambling fund. I will be max betting on Risque Business with this money. Which I think is 45 nickles ($2.25) a spin. I've won bonuses before up to $50, so that would be x5 which would be $250!
In theory, it sounds good! So far today I made $9, with a total of $12.21. If my projections are correct I should have around $50-$60 for this "Risque" *snort* gamble! I just have to tell another 420 people who has the biggest whee whee on ChaCha and I'll be ready..

Lucky you! I didn't get one of those offers. Guess I only run with the highrollers and aren't one myself. LOL! Woot not too long before we go! So you going to the concert? I do have tickets for the comedy club but I hate to waste valuable play time sitting around.

I resisted the urge and stayed at home yesterday! On Thursday I had an invite for a spot in the $10K slot tournament. They must be trying to get that $200 back I took from the Price Is Right machine last time..haha They just keep toying with me trying to get me to break!

This last week I got called off from work due to lack of work. So that would have been 8 hours of pay which I would have gone without, which would have sucked! Being the diligent and determined person I am I worked at ChaCha all week, putting in 10 hour days at about $2-$3 an hour. By Thursday though, I cashed out with what I would have taken home on that 8 hour day that I missed. It made my eyes go bonkers, but I did it! So my Risque Business max bet fund has been reset, and hopefully I don't have to tap into it before our trip again!

I also have 2 free tickets to the comedy club each month and unlimited free admission and parking at Mixx (the club) every single day of December! I can be up in da club partying all December! lol If the Borgata would be in PA, I'd be in trouble as I would live there probably!

I'm ready to go though, I'm suffering Borgata withdrawals. I can do it, only like 20 more days..

..Or three..

But the one trip I won like $120, the next I gave them back the $120 and I went out to Mohegan on Thursday and dropped like $70. So I only injured myself $70, and my car insurance dropped $60, so I'm only down $10!

And I'm getting paid for my last 10 days of vacation pay before I'd lose it.
So I'll be living the vida loca for much of November!

The weekend will start out on Friday afternoon heading to Carlisle for the wedding rehearsal. Then we will be staying at the lovely Days Inn Carlisle overlooking beautiful Interstate 81 for a AAA rate of $69 a night! lol The wedding is 2pm Saturday where I'll walk a bridesmaid down the aisle and usher some peeps outta there. Then the reception I'll shake a leg on the dance floor. Once that's all said and done we'll be heading back to Central PA Saturday night as my friends have to be back early on Sunday. I'll get me some sleep and wake up for my drive to the shore. Hope to arrive around 2pm and hit Harrah's as I have a $.01 voucher from my last trip that I really should cash in haha Hopefully take a few dollars from them and head over to the Borg.

Then Monday we will hit the Trump Taj Mahal and Borgata for some jackpots!
They'll be comping us penthouse suites and then the rest is history..

We can only dream..haha

Haha on another forum I post at they had a thread about addiction and you could take a quiz to find out if you were addicted, to a number of things.

It told me:

Quote:
Your score indicates that gambling activity and possible gambling addiction is an area of concern that should be addressed. We encourage you to seek out more information on the subject of gambling addiction.
And the only thing I answered yes to was:

Quote:
Do you ever get the urge to celebrate any good fortune with a few hours of gambling?
The good thing is though, it said I do not have an alcohol problem!!
My grandma was a big gambler and if she was still alive, we'd be quite the duo!

I'll probably hit the boardwalk around 11 and take a stroll to the Caesars Pier and go to the Apple store to use the free internet. They have a Gucci store in there too, might go look at all the stuff I can't afford..haha

It'll be fun!

I'm scary when I'm still in a half awake daze when it comes to gambling..haha
That time when I was ahead $100 I sat at a $1 slot on the way to get breakfast. Lets just say that was the most expensive breakfast sandwich I ever ate! I like it early in the morning though, you basically have the place to yourself.

I'm ready to roll! Got my girl approved hair cut this morning!, cashed my paycheck, going munchie shopping Thursday, and then the wedding events Friday. I have off tomorrow as work is almost dead, so that beat up my Risque Business fund! But I still managed to salvage $20 for the max bet event, hope it hits something!

Here is some Borgata porn to hold you over!

Borgata Casino Vespa Scooter Commercial

Doo Dooo Dooo

Sammy is my idol!

Got back from the wedding, everything went smooth and turned out great. But now I have another issue! My car has decided it wants to leak water from the front right when it's running and after it sits for about 10-15 minutes. Everything that I found looks like it leads to the radiator or overflow. I'm thinking though that they need to be looked at before I drive it all the way to NJ and back. Most reputable places are closed on Sunday, so I'm going to ask my dad in the morning his opinion and if not he knows some people who might be able to look at it.

The leak started last night after the rehearsal and then I was paranoid going out every 5-10 minutes making sure it was indeed water. So then my sleep was crappy and I ended up waking at about 5:30am. I'm beat now and hope to figure something out in the morning. I'll keep you posted Terry!

Sunday morning UPDATE!

With a cool engine I have found my little water drippage only starts when the engine has been shut off and is cooling down. When the engine is running it's fine and everything is running as it should. The source is right on the "firewall" I believe is the official term and it's actually coming from what looks like a steam valve. Which the drops of water are most likely steam droplets when the engine is cooling down. I posted on the ChaCha forum and others have had the same issue without problem. So I'll be leaving a little water drippage in the Borgata parking garage! haha

So we are on, Atlantic City here I come!

And I made it! The funny thing is when I stopped at the Allentown service plaza for a pit stop it dawned on me. Even as back as like a year ago I remember hearing a small ping, that ping was the water drops hitting the hot area below and sizzling. I still don't remember it doing it when I bought it new, so I'll probably still take it to the dealership sometime when I get back. Smooth sailing all the way here, nada backups in Philly, which was surprising. Awesome weather today, it's like 70 and sunny here. Tomorrow is 61 and sunny, for November that isn't bad.

I went to Harrah's to kill some time and none of the machines would accept my card. So I played without it and killed 45 minutes. No big wins, but I held my own. Only left what looked like a Yorkshire Terrier urinated sized pile of water in that garage!

I'll seeya at the Taj tomorrow afternoon, have a safe drive over!

Trip Report Time!

The drive down was smooth sailing. I did have to stop once due to my tire pressure monitor going haywire. It kept telling me the one tire was at 44 psi, which is quite high. So I got off the turnpike and found a gas station which had a air pump and I got that back down. That was fun! Arrived in Atlantic City around 2pm. Went over to Harrah's and played quite a few games which gave bonuses right away, but I gave back some and went to Borgata.

Since I'm not quite the high roller like Terry is, I was given a standard king room on the 31st floor with a city view. Dinner consisted of a Tuna Melt at Bread and Butter. with comp dollars. Played for awhile going up and down. Played TT from 7-9. Went back down and got in a frenzie with the pig community game where the more and faster you bet the higher the multiplier is when you get into the bonus round. Well I was feeding that thing $20 bills like it was going out of style. Got the bonus round and won a whole 5 credit, no joke, 5 cents! Played Wizard of Oz and made my rounds and hung it up around 10:30pm. Made a donation about what the room would have cost, so ehh, I'm even!

Awoke Monday around 7:30am and watched what is always on Monday mornings on TBS when I'm at the Borgata, Saved By The Bell reruns! Went to Roma for breakfast for a Roma wrap, still with comp dollars on Borgata.
Around 10am I drove and parked at the Taj Mahal. This time I took a picture of my Jeep so I would remember where I parked, smart move!
Put some money into Wizard of Oz Nickle machine and within two spins Glinda appeared and won this. Big Win 750 Nickles $37.50!.
A few other machines and I had $20 into $85! It was time to hit the boardwalk and down to the Pier Shops at Caesars. Here is a link to pictures I took on Facebook..
I got called out by some bum on a bench for wearing my Phillies hat and then he said some mumbles and something about being a "***" since they lost the series. Yeah whatever ya bum! It was a hike back from the pier to Taj, but I was back by 11:30 and had pizza at SBarro.

Back on the casino floor I was on fire! Found a Sopranos machine and I played that for about 30 minutes. Kept getting scatter bonus and some really good spins. Here I won $20 on a scatter pay!
I got to Open The Vault on Open The Vault and won $28.75. From there I kept on heading upwards and started to search out for Terry. In the meantime I would stop at random machines and kept on going up. Finally around a corner I spotted Terry. I had a ticket for like $199.60 that I wanted to get to $200 so I could cash out and get my Benjamins. What do you know I got into a Hexbreaker bonus and got it well above $200. Cashed that ticket out and put one Benjamin back for safe keeping, as that one was coming home with me. We played at the Taj till about 4pm and I had my original $100 still in hand, so about 5 hours of play and I broke even.

We originally planned to meet at 5pm for dinner. Well both of our GPS took us the long way around, but I arrived a little after 4:30. I wondered back down to meet up with Terry, her friend, and her mom and friend. I see them at the front desk and the high roller gets a complimentary upgrade to a suite! But as it was a non-smoking suite and they wanted smoking, she kindly gave it to her mom. So we loaded up the elevator to go check out this suite! It was a Fiore Suite at the end of the hall in the rounded part. Wow, and sweet it was!

Foyer to suite.

The sweet bathroom, complete with enough marble to tile a bank floor!

It had an iPod dock radio, a couch, an amazing view, and some complimentary bottled water. Once we got the bags dropped off, we headed back down to Terry's ghetto classic room to drop off bags. We had some awesome burgers at the Metropolitan restaurant which cost us a whole $6 with our comp dollars combined. The time was around 6:15pm and we were off to do some damage!

Risque Business has been changed to a $.2 machine, which is a real bummer. So I got to max better anyway and after about $40 I got a strip bonus that wasn't that impressive. From this point on I'll just point out some highlights of the night:
  • Terry won about $200 and I heard her from across the area we were in screaming with joy haha
  • At one point I went all the way down to $.10 and turned that into about $88 in just a matter of minutes.
  • We made a Borgata babe mad when we ordered from a babe that wasn't assigned to our area. In general all the B babes had a little attitude to them last night!
  • I won 111 quarters on a quarter video slot.
  • Terry won like $70 on a $1 Jeopardy game. Since I was her "DD" this trip, I made her cash out! She had a habit of playing until the meter is down to 0, but when she was doing good, I tried my best to get her to take the win and move on! She cooperated well
  • 5 Pandas on a Mr.Cashman machine!
  • I was rockin on this bass game, lots of nice bonuses.
  • I tripped over the bottom of this $1 slot machine and Terry was ready to cut me off from my bottled water.
  • Twice as nice!!
I was getting some great bonuses with multi-retriggers and annoying Terry! Overall though, we all shared in a fair share of wins. About 12:45am I think we finally made the full lap around the casino floor hitting the good machines along the way. I had $5.75 left out of my budget for the night and turned it into about $23 which I cashed out to pay for all the tolls on the way home.

This is the part where we need Terry to come on and complete the trip. I left Terry and her friend at 1:30am still playing strong. I went up to the room, grabbed my notebook and went back down to the lobby to use the free wi-fi. A quick check of my FB apps and email and I was back in the room at 1:50am. I looked at the clock and it was 2:00am on the dot when I shut the light off. So did Terry cash out on her big wins? Did they ever go to sleep? Did they make any other Borgata babes mad? How did they make out the rest of today? That's what I want to know!

For reasons unknown I woke up at like 7:45am..
I showered, packed, watched Saved By The Bell and was in my car at 9am. I knew I had a lot of stuff to do when I returned, so I wanted to get back to the real world. Breakfast consisted off ranch snack mix, beef jerky, diet coke, and some soft chunky chocolate cookies..mmm. Arrived back home at 12:55pm on the dot.

I didn't strike it rich, but it was a lot of fun!

Great report Kenny and very accurate. LOL! Lets see, Kelly and I were going strong so we ended up staying out til 4am. I kept telling her we were going to regret staying up so late. LOL! At one point we were just not going to go to the room at all and let my mom and her friend find us in the same clothes down in the casino still playing later that morning. But common sense won out, albeit a little late, and we made it to bed around 4:30. Was a fun, fun night.

My luck kept going and I kept hitting bonus after bonus. I got on this Zeus nickle machine and won over $200. Of course with my DD no longer around I ended up blowing it later on other machines. I went to bed with only $25 left for the night but still had my money for the next day stashed away.

We had Starbucks for breakfast and finally got to gambling again around 10am. We played til around 5 that day before leaving for home. About an hour before we left, all of us got on the Ebay machines and kept hitting. I was at 9X play for any bonus I got. Within 5 minutes I was up to $212! Again since my DD was no longer there, I ended up putting it right back into Ebay and cashed out at $20. Oh well, I am sure I would have wasted it on some other machine. Ebay was a lot of fun! We had a blast on that machine. Other lucky ones for me that day were Wizard of Oz and that one right next to it, the Piggie game. I cashed out with over $100 on that one.

All in all, this was my best trip as far as bringing home some cash. I usually am lucky to bring home $25. LOL! This trip I brought home $400. More then I ever brought home before but still more then half down what I started. We had so much fun this trip and it was worth every penny. Even if I didn't get to sleep in my suite.

Looking forward to the February trip now. Save that cash and those comps.

That's awesome, $400! As your DD, I'm very proud of this accomplishment. If anything it makes the night longer when you move on and have fun elsewhere with the winnings. Ebay is a lot of fun, even with complete strangers as everyone shares in on the pot. That's another one of those games just like the piggies where you move as fast as you can to keep the multiplier up. Glad the piggies paid out for you at least!

Next time I'll be sure to stay my second night after the first and I'll join you guys for an all nighter! I already told my mom I'll need off a few days in February, as I'll be working for her by then. She *sighed* at me, but said it would probably be ok. She's a tough boss..haha

After this trip it made going to the local casinos by yourself boring, it's so much fun playing with other people. I've also come to learn that the local places seem tighter and you just get less bang for your buck than in AC. Unless they send me some amazing offers, I'll be staying away from the PA places for awhile.

Can't rule out a trip to AC or two before Feb though, but who didn't see that coming?! And I'm bringing the lucky sea shell!

ROFL! Yes, bring the lucky seashell! My mom's friend and I were the only ones that didn't have anything lucky to bring. Kelly had her rock and my mom had her crystal. Barbara didn't bring anything either yet she won $755 on a nickle machine! All four of us actually brought money home this trip.

It was a fun trip and I'm sure much better when with friends. Kelly will be going again with me in February. Rachel returns to the action with me in April for her birthday trip. I will let you know the dates in Feb as soon as we figure it out. Maybe this time I will get to keep my suite.

$755!
WTG to her. For those lost on the lucky seashell, when I was out on the beach I grabbed a shell to act as the lucky shell.

I was rubbing it on the machine and letting it sit on the machine. I tell ya, I think it worked!
