Lock this pointless thread please

After about 12 years of playing, 1st on Love Handles (sold him), then White Lighter and Walmart (sold Walmart), then Krews (sold), then King Edward/Guardian KX/herb (all mothballed)... I have given up UO.

Ive had access to more than 20 other peoples accounts in the past. Always working there characters up and then moving on as they sold them or they quit the game forever. It was a fun round of playing I guess. Many people that I loved are gone, and those that I cared most about in the game have turned there backs on me. Not once but twice...

I'll most likely be remembered for my rude comments to a member of VmP. Its a game and all, but I went too far and payed the price for my words and actions. Got booted from a alliance I helped build... such is life. We live and we learn.

In all the time that I had access to multiable peoples accounts, I was never once accused of stealing one item or a single gold piece. That all ended when Shadow Spawn gave me access to his account Lil boy blue. He accused me of stealing everything in his account, robbing him blind. It wasnt and isnt true, not one person has ever had anything that I would want pixel wize. I went to bed one day, woke up to be kicked off vent and losing access to Gwendars accounts and Shadows. Again, so be it. When I got kicked out of the JSV alliance the first time, it hurt. But the actions that caused me to be booted were my own, and some sort of payment to Siege society needed to be met... I payed my dues. I even went on Stratics and posted a apoligy, just to have it banned and blocked by Kelmo. So Be It.

This time when I got booted from the alliance I had no power left in me to fight. Fighting something that I did I could deal with, fighting something that I would never do I cant. Gwen, Rojo, and Verum know that everything that I was accused of stealing wasnt true (some totems, quivers, and 300+ items that Shadow swore I stole but could never tell me what). But it was either me go peacefully or deal with Shadow Spawns hate and rants of revenge against everyone. So because I was the easy target, out I went.

I considered myself one of the most knowledgeable tamers on siege, and one of the better ones in PvP. Most of the people I fought hated me cause I was cocky as hell and often won. Taming and Cartography was what I was best at.

So all my accounts are now off (TY GM Sprite for the 3 day time code to put my stuff away). UO, Vent, and UOAM all deleted from my comp. MY account names and passwords not written down so they are forever forgot. And this one Goodbye that I'm very sure you'll all rejoice at.

Its a game people. Everyone that was in vent with me were my second family. It'll be hard to find a new "hobby"... but online video gaming wont be one of them.

It's easy to make someone who has made errors in the past a scapegoat, most are too willing to believe ill of them, so the real culprits sneak under the radar. I sure as hell wouldn't let anyone accuse me of something I didn't do without dragging the truth to the surface, whether I was going to quit or not.... especially if accused of stealing or telling porkies.

If you're quitting without getting to the truth it's your decision and that's that, but buggered if I would, not till the truth was out, doesn't matter who likes you and who doesn't.

Edward was alot of things...but i never heard of him stealing anything from anyone...If he has as much pixel crap as i think he has, he wouldn't have to steal anyone's stuff. Thats all i have to say about that...

In the early day of UO Love Handles was in my guild "The Order of Light" and was booted when he was observed taking potions. Not a biggie now but back then nobody had anything and it was unfortunate when we saw him do this.

I'm not sure if anyone sees the true point to this... a 12 year vet is leaving over innocuous crap in a game... a game that has so many places to move to... new people that are just as cool as the ones you played with in the beginning! UO needs it's players if it is to stay afloat... and one of this caliber... from the looks of it one that also has multiple accounts... everyone should think more about the loss to UO instead of the mamby pamby highschool he said she said little guild wars that pop up for reasons I refuse to comment on.

Dear god man... come back... change shards and click one big ignore. Character transfers are there for a reason... you don't have to play with those people. You can go where no one knows you and start over... in fact... there are awesome people on other shards who would welcome a 12 year vet. Don't let the players ruin the game when there are so many others worth playing with.

Way to fail, character transfers don't work to or from SP. Also, games do get old, sometimes you don't want to play with new people. Besides, no matter if he stays or goes, its not like it effects how long UO lasts as a whole anyway...

Ahh.. I was unaware of that fact... thanks. Seige I knew had several differences from other shards but that was not one I was aware of.

On the other hand... I've seen so many IDOC's in the game lately... and on Stratics... lots of long term players and goodbye posts. To me... this is sad... and NOT a good sign for UO. And the post said nothing about getting tired of playing... bored... etc... to me... it was more of a "tired of peoples crap" post.

I was merely suggesting that maybe a 12 year vet leaving should raise some concerns for the current players as no ones seems to last more than a couple of years anymore and the current players are leaving faster than the new ones are signing up. Hell... EA put SA on sale for gods sake... ALREADY!

But who cares right? UO goes bust... we'll all go play on Xbox live or WoW... you're right... a 12 year vet is nothing when there are so many other games to start over on...

I cannot change what has happened or know exactly what has happened.
I know some from both sides, I find it sad that two of the players I play most with had to go down the path you two have done :-( and the result it has given.

What I can say is you were the first to help me built a tamer when I came back from a 5 year brake, before I had joined any guild, you helped me alot which I have been thankful for.

As of lately you were one of those I play`d most with and im sorry to see you go, espesially under those circumstances.

I found him one of the most arrogant, rude, annoying, and overall despiseable people that I have ever had the misfortune of playing with.

Now, having said that; there is no way in hell he stole those items. He had access to way to much stuff, and way to many accounts for WAY TO LONG for this to happen at this point.

I am not necessarily sad to see him leave, but I am always sad when people get accused of doing stuff they did not do.

So for 3 days straight I've read this forum... And I honestly expected to see so much hate towards me and joy over my leaving. Even the ones I thought hated me most actually gave me hope. (RL) herb told me hes sick of me mopeing around the house looking like a lost stranger. Gave me a 1/2 hour lecture on his view of the whole thing. "They turned their backs on you when you needed there support... This isnt the first time man, they did it too you in the past as well. Your a stupid azz for going back and getting burned by there trust a second time. So stop looking like they actually kicked you in the ballz zack and be a man and go back and play".

He's right, but starting as a loner in UO blows. Even going back after commiting to never see this game again will be hard. Swallowing my pride and returnings gonna be a downer.

So Screw It. Im back for the time being.

Guardian KX/King Edward is looking for a home people. I need people that care and like to talk. I've got about every mule skill in the game besides Imbue'ing, and we all know about my knowledgable tamer skills. Please PM me or if you see me in game with no tag... hit me up (hmm, nm that last part, hehe). I'd give the names of guilds I wouldn't even consider but they wouldn't want me either.

Any moderator please lock this thread, I was the one that started it and am requesting that it be locked or removed. Its pointless since im staying for the time being.
