Is that verifiable? That is, are people still experiencing the cap?
Yes, many of my friends have stopped playing in tc3 because of the cap. We pooled money with one roomie so he could buy a pizza table, and after giving him 3k he bought the table and is now capped, which makes no sense at all.
Another roomie hit his cap, so I made a new sim on my premium account just to make money to give to him to raise his cap. He spends every dollar I give him, plus every dollar he's ever made, yet he's still capped after my giving him an extra 2k.
There are complaints of people who have hit their cap after only making 200 - 300 on a new sim, so the cap seems to kick in randomly for some, it's a huge pain!
For some though, like me, it never seems to be an issue. I can make fistfull after fistfull and have never been affected.
That cap seems to be hitting less and less people..at least in the last week or so. Who knows why. For some it stays for a good long while..and others it's gone in a short time. But the game.. overall...runs just fine and dandy for most of us still playing..Although yesterday there were a couple really buggy lots, at least they were funny bugs though.
Is this cap you guys refer to the reason why I am suddenly only getting $100 bonus instead of $500? And I spend nearly every simolean I make on CC...so if this is the case, why??

Cat, from what I understand, it's the premium accounts that get 500, and the free accounts that get 100. Maybe your account status has been changed somehow.
