More Dear Toon...
Dear toons who are SF's and go in a mint or whatever with randoms - please do not limit yourself to secret chat. Maybe it's just me, but it's very hard to communicate team-wise with two toons who are barking and growling every second of every battle. When another toon says "I can't understand you" or "Use the Speedchat" we are just trying to communicate as best we can so that every one of us can have a good time in Toontown.
And - I don't understand why, when I said "I can't understand you" you replied "No Thank You." I don't care if you're having a private conversation, but just try to be polite and every now and then throw out a speedchat phrase to encourage us randoms trying to get through the mint with you. As it was, I was afraid you'd be some of those rude toons who run ahead and battle the supervisor or foreman, leaving the rest behind.
Am I thin-skinned here, or what?

No, you are not thin skinned!! I was playing my dog, fancy, in the factory. Two were talking to each other and then me and another random. When we got to the warehouse portion you very politely just skipped thru the bots and let the two of us run up to fight the 4 cogs alone. One of you did eventually come back while one just looked on, blue dog. The blue dog never even lined up with us again and on the last silo you stood there and watched while I struggled after the others went sad. Eventually, I did too. Thanks a bunch.
Then, the same night, I was in a building with three randoms one of which a blue mouse. The you barely ever helped and as we battled wave after wave of cogs coming off the elevator on the top floor, you just stood there and paid no attention. I was the only one with tu, so guess what, I was the one that went sad.

Ive had the same problem.... Its seems those toons who went with us into a mint were more interested in chatting than the mint. All the way through bark bark squeakity squeak quack qauck NONSTOP they were 3 sfs and I was by myself. I dont ususlly say Use the speedchat because i chat alot too but enough is enough. We even use the sppedchat when we need people to understand, maybe you should've gotten the conversation over with and talked LATER!

Dear Toon Cat with the initals C S - thank you for my first OMG moment of the day when you joined my battle with two number crunchers in Cashbot HQ this morning. "Let's use Toonup" you said and I happily obliged because you only had one laff point. Little did I know that, not only were you not going to return the favor, you were going to bail on your next turn.... Thanks a Million! Happy to be of Service!!
You may be sorry to know that I survived the battle with 3 laff myself, and will now hunt you down and stink you unmercifully at every opportunity I find. And I encourage all my friends to do so as well.

I dont mind as long as they use speedchat if they have special maneuvers planned and respond to my "Which way?" when we come to the 11s.
Or didnt. I hate the mint and dont go with randoms anymore. At most I have reduced myself to doing it with one or two friends in the coin unless there's a special circumstance.

i dont' really mind the chatting until it interfere's with me seeing the gags played. When I'm in a batle with 2 other sf's and a random I intentionally try to keep the chatting to a min. I'm a motor mouth so sometimes I forget and tlk a little too much (SOWWY!).
I also say to the random: SORRY! > USE THE SPEEDCHAT! > SORRY! > I'M HELPING A FRIEND! My intention is to let them know i'm only chatting to discuss the game and not to be rude or interrupt the playing. also don't want them to think I'm talking behind their backs.
I think it just plain old good ettiquitte to be polite to randoms and do unto them as you would have done to yourself...KWIM?

I don't mind SF chat at all, even when I am the only random. Probably because my friends and I tend to talk a lot while playing the game. I was in a building with 2 sfs yesterday and a random came along. Well every time we talked we got the same old Use the Speedchat. Hello! We were talking and having fun. We weren't bothering him. He saw we were talking before we went into the building. I can see if it was a surprise that we didn't know each other but he saw us all talking while waiting for another friend. No matter how much we talk we still use speedchat too throughout the time we are with randoms so they feel included. I guess it just doesn't bother me so chat away while anyone is with me. LOL!

dear ROYAL purple pig....
thanks so much for stinking me as we headed for the end of the da... it was so thoughtful of you to thank me for solving puzzles and wasting my train..when one of you triggered the skels....that had to be one of the worst da's i've ever been in... dropping a piano on a lured skel.. man there was so much bad about that run...i'm speechless...

Thank you so much for making it near impossible to friend your tail so that I could gift you some stuff. Next time that someone tells you to stay, wait here, trust me, me too and other things, take the hint!
Sheesh.

I have to agree with Fangs with this one. I learned the hard way.
But then again I saw the light and it was glowing from the stratics website.

Dear Yellow Cat,
Generally, when you have maxed sound and go into a bullion mint, it is a good idea to BRING sound gags of a higher level than aoogah, and only 2 aoogahs at that. Additionally, might I recommend using gags other than pixie dust, hypnogoggles, seltzer bottles, and fruit pies? It is hardly conducive to finishing the mint with everyone smiling when you have brought maxed gags (save for sound) and use nothing damaging above a level 4. I realize it is possible that you were on a dare of some sort, but if that were the case, you could at least SAY something!
Irritatedly yours,
Thunderhead

Dear Toon,
Please don't go into the bullion mint saying, "I only have a few minutes" right from the get go. If you only have a few minutes, do something else!!!

DEAR MR HOLLYWOOD, ROBBER BARON, Etc.
Please DON'T get on the elevator in ANY BOSS battle with a short crew just to BUG out because you dont like the prize or the toon your fighting besides. THere are those of us that would like to become higher suits such as yourself. And some of us will remember that we were once low suited cogs that just wanted to win. If you dont like the card go into battle and waste it. At least finishing the battle will get you a higher level suit. If not it could benifit someone who will battle with you again in a mint or such. And that someone might be resentful and forget you need a toon up. You never know. Someone might be writing names down just for such reasons.
LIKE I SAID REMEMBER WHERE YOU CAME FROM!!!

Just pretend you don't know me while I vent this ****!
OMG I just spent the last 35 minutes, heck it was almost 40 minutes after the CEO trying to get into a simple 3 Hole golf course. I searched almost every green district to finally find some people in Summit and Nuttywood. WTF are you ****ing toons doing there? You are like 1 laff out of 15 laff points and you think you need to go ****ing golf?! When I finally did find some ok people to go with, you had the 25 laff toon who had to make the shuffle process! I finally gave up after being fed up with the noob ****! I'm sick of it! Get the **** outta there! WHY WOULD YOU GO WITH 15 laff and crap gags? WHY? You actually think you're going to live. Even if you had someone with toonup, it would take you over an hour to get through that! HUH? WHY WOULD YOU PUT YOURSELF THROUGH THAT? Then their is me the simple dude who just needs a nice easy golf course with some sane people who just want the same. I understand these are probably kids who are in it for the "ZOMG11! I neez tu gulf cuz itss soo much funn1!1" factor, but gosh darnit! Every district, except River, couldn't get there, had these toons. Go play with your Malibu Stacy Doll and enjoy your childhood!! I'm sorry for the censorship, but you should hear me in RL.

Haha...I love it...Sorry, I couldn't help but laugh at your venting...It's good to know I'm not the only one who feels that way sometimes. I gave up this afternoon and just did buildings to get my options (but I only needed 200 or so...) Hey, on a good note, I think I've made you about a dollar so far!!!

Yeah Elga, I feel your pain. We were totally rained out camping night before last and my husband went to dry the bedding and clothes and I took the kids to McDonald's (it was still pouring outside). I was there for 1 1/2 hours and thought I could at least get 2 suit parts while I was waiting. I tried multiple districts and after wasting 1 1/2 hours, I came out with ZERO suit parts!!! (and I tried River too, how do these toons even get into river???) There was the 15 laff people, the 45 laff people who had no gags, and the occaisional 100 plus toon just trying to golf!!! By the time I left I was so frustrated I decided that I don't care if Precious ever gets her suit parts!!! I am over that now but man!!! I really cant wait for school to start!! If anyone can help me just get even one or 2 parts I will be soooo thankful!!!

Hey stupid black cat...
I dont care if you have a pun name or that your laff is over 120.
To carry maxed trap and not use it on the 12 holly and bring out a cloud is inviting an attack, especially when you carried the most gags on our side. To not listen to the small toon, who know their limitations, and mock them openly for asking to do sound more than goes against the CCG guidelines. You think I'm new? You're an idiot who thinks laff matters over experience. Maybe you shouldn't think like a robot and stop stinking toons who know what they're doing in hitting more than one cog and *gasp* not the right one. Maybe you should steer clear of my toons when I show up for a run from now on too... my downtime is too valuable for robotics. I'm in it to play and have a good time and win, not to help you get your lure back to "0 to go"

Dear TOON,
This is for the Toon that decided that jumping onto an elevator with 3 other 100+ laff toons in the bullion was a GREAT IDEA until he found out the one of us is without sound. That is discrimination. If you can not complete a Factory, Mint, DA, or Golf Course without sound then you should not make EVERYONE ELSE suffer your lack of abilites. You made 3 toons work twice as hard to complete that ullion becuase you PUSHED past aomeone else that might have been able to handle the minor soundless issue. Please take you SOUND ONLY FOG HORN AND BLOW YOURSELF!

Look -- kid (yes, you're showing your age by your actions)...
If I or any other toon is already at the back left tread, respect their position and go somewhere else. There are a gajillion other spots where you can be useful and contribute to the team. That's what us grown ups do you know.
As it is, when you see someone there - ESPECIALLY a lower laughed toon - don't shove them around or into the VP. Don't incite the VP's attention to throw gears in that location and do NOT prevent them from throwing the pie in. As it is I threw the first stun just as you arrived and started pushing me. You were entirely oblivious to anything but that spot, regardless of whether someone competent was manning it.
And you couldn't be very good if I went to the other end and threw from a distance and stunned him at the front half of the time. The other half were by others. This is the second time you have done this in a Sunday run, which amazes me because by now you must realize that you can't escape the VP's gears from either side AND throwing from the back while he's stunned has no effect.
But you might be a YOUNG kid and not comprehend anything but "I wanna" and don't see any of the other toons as anything other than NPCs. Someone that young should not be left unattended at a computer with an active Internet connection, but that's just my opinion.
So power to you kid. You have achieved full fledged Snertdom, and you picked a bad time to get on my case.

Yes, that was extremely rude.
I didn't think it made us work twice as hard though. Just more of a challenge than usual. You guys were so much fun, that the dog's leaving might actually have been good. LOL!

Dear Toon,
Thanks for the toonup, but we missed out on invasion. You were mad too, so it's ok. I'll be at the DA again tonight due to this hiccup, maybe we'll see you there!

Dear Toon: Please stop with the direction giving. I am not going to follow you just because YOU tell me to. You may need a bunch of merits in the factory, but that doesn't mean I stink because I only need a few hundred and was willing to do it by myself when you saw my laff average and got on with me, so you figured I'd want to hit every nook and cranny. Also, I don't need to be told what to throw on every gag. You run in wanting to work up your gag track, but I have no intention of going along with every direct order you give out, no matter how many laffs you have, low or high. I've gotten where I'm at in the game without anyone holding my hand, thank you very much. I think if you have a special agenda in mind, you should get hold of some of your friends or TFs and go with them; otherwise, don't have expectations for what others are going to do.

Or not if we're lucky. Lemme see when CCG has a CJ and try to get in on it before you come on. Hammy needs that key by New Years! Or does he?
I should add that I would be in an earlier one but without XD I am without NR

Dear Tri colored green headed mouse (54 laff) my friends and I didn't flintch and leave you out of our VPing fun last night, yet we all wish we had. Great you want to build your suit ... Throwing a single gag wouldn't have killed you and when being asked to "help!" saying "that's funny" is not calming to anyone at all, you are lucky my friends are kind hearted cause you wouldn't have made it through even round one of cog battle it was great to see you passed up on skill points at the end & thank you Professor Pete (SOS) for showing up your one cool dude! HEHE! I feel better now!

Dear toon,
This is a photo of how you make me feel when I lure a level 12 cog and your 105 laff buddy decides to use a seltzer bottle so your 45 laff self can drop an anvil on the LVL 12 Robber Barron.
Thanks for the memories.

Dear cream cat and coral bear who are obviously SFs,
What in the world was the deal? We go into a building, we're kicking cog butt left and right, when the cogs come in multiples on the higher floor, we start sounding, but on the last floor, we're facing a 9 and a 10. Bluebeary and I pulled cakes on each, with the expectation that you'd assist. Instead, you pull a pair of fogs and blow away one of the cogs. Now, normally I'd attribute this to bad timing and it wasn't intentional, and just laugh it off. All thoughts of that were tossed out the window when both of you offered 'Ha Ha!'
You know, your lives must lack serious meaning if you find enjoyment out of trying to give others a hard time.
Sincerely,
Mountainbeary and Bluebeary McBurp

Dear toons,
I'm sorry, I'm not about to spend an hour in a bullion mint just so you can train drop and squirt. We spent 8 minutes-EIGHT!-on the FIRST set of cogs. An invasion came and went while we battled the same four cogs. And then, after we finally finished, I and the only other non-gag-training toon in with us, a horse, both said "Let's use sound!" Both of you gag trainers had brought maxed sound. And both of you waited until we had chosen 2 fog horns before using a fire hose and a safe. What a waste of time. And what really puzzles me is that YOU HAD MAXED GAGS- AND YOUR LEVEL 7s.
Mints are not the places to train your gags in any circumstances, but training with maxed gags? You must be very odd toons.
And saying "Let's use sound!" as I'm TPing out is just not cool.
Irritatedly yours,
Thunderhead

Now you know why I like random mints so much.
Maxed sound is every dolt's meal ticket into the Bullion. Gotta go holistic: what other gags do they have loaded, what is their body language... lots of factors when calculated allow you to smell trouble a mile away.

Well, both of them brought perfectly "normal" gags; I looked, and there wasn't a squirt gun or an anvil (or similar) between the pair of them.
As for body language, no one else was even AT the bullion mint (miracle of miracles, being in NR) and the gag trainers and the horse just jumped right on. I followed because I still get shuffled, even at 92 laff, and I had decided that they were okay to go with. Silly me.
Based on this, was there any other way to tell that they would be trouble? I'd love to know if there is a way to spot such toons, to avoid wasting time and effort in the future. Or maybe I'll just do all my mints with Stratics

I dont have that luxury unfortunately.
A suspicious toon will behave "itchy" and hop around or be over enthusiastic. Mature people behind toons tend to be a lot calmer. Not always so, but their movements aren't usually pointless and random, and doing maneuvers for the sake of doing them.

Dear Big-headed Blue Dog (or should I say Fat-headed!) I did you guys a favor dragging through the dang factory and when we got to the top of the silo I told you I need more merits. I will NEVER step on the button for randoms ever again because you and your idiot friends went and defeated the supervisor before I got there. You have ruined my attitude toward randoms (and you made me use the You Stink! phrase more in one day than I have the whole time I have been on toontown) Laughing and saying I don't care just added insult to injury. I am simply fuirious!!!!!! I reported all three of you for rude and mean behaviour, so I hope you get what's coming to you. Burn in the lava pits of the bullion mint forever!!!!
To all my stratics friends - sorry about that, normal anger levels should resume shortly.

Hey Marge, that is the exact same experience that gave me a hatred of randoms.....esp in the factory. I agree with you in that I will NEVER EVER step on that switch. I just wont do it. But I make sure that I stay in the silo area with the toon so they dont get nervous. It is unfortunate that there are people who are so unhappy that they have to make others miserable. I just dont get it. Im also glad you reported them!! I wish they gave you the results of your report!!

Dear stupid cowardly duck,
Dont offer to come on a revenge run if you're game to kill off the ubers so you can finish a skel round and TP out.
Don't ask ubers for a toonup in your 70s laff. You look even dumber. (she stopped tooning us at 70 and made the sad face, expecting us to doodle her while her lure missed)
Didnt anyone ever tell you it's not common for anyone to start with an uber as their first toon? No. We're all big toons and usually have maxed suits.
Last but not least, stupid cowardly duck, dont ditch the little toons with barely any laff. If you cant fight the vp what are you doing there with a holly suit? If you have to run to mommy then dont waste our time. We're there to fight the good fight, and trust you to be there for it too.

That was a pretty bad revenge run, we are gonna need a revenge run for the revenge run. We gave the vp a run for is money, it was pretty close to a victory. That was pretty cowardly for her to run away i mean level 7's aren't hard to get back. Plus she was level 50 so she had nothing to lose. Maybe some other time

Hah! She could have kept her level 70. If we werent tired at so late a time, we probably could have kicked his butt. We almost had him. I would have liked to get him, and one day we ubers will be better prepared and start with full laff.
Anyway I sent a PM to an ambassador with the incriminating screenie. (yes, her name has been altered to protect the cowardly).

Dear Toons who ran into the factory with me today: I needed a few hundred merits, and I get on with one random, no toonup, laffs in the 50's, which was no problem because I had planned to do the factory by myself anyway. At the last minute, 2 more randoms ran in. I get off, say no thank you, shuffling goes on, and finally, since I was planning to do it by myself anyway, I give up and you go along. I end up with 3 randoms with no toon ups and their laffs were even lower than the first one. I thought "oh great." You two toons who ran in late, never threw a single gag the ENTIRE WAY, saving them for the final battle I guess. I kept the first one going with occasional toon ups, but you two I let struggle on the final level, with only their doodles for hope. No toon up? Then see what it's like to go through the factory with no one to give you a hand while you throw the gags and set yourself up to be hit the most. Not going to throw gags? Good luck. You both ended up examining your pedicures when we got to the final round, while the first toon and I danced. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Dear all toons,
I just went sad. Twice. In twenty minutes. Both in VPs.
Thank you very much.
I am speechless.
-Thunderhead
Edit: And to the small blue duck in my CFO, here's a list of what went right.
...
And here's a list of what went wrong:
EVERYTHING
Which includes:
Sounding on my lure-TWICE
Sounding when you KNEW I was out of fogs, one of the other toons was soundless, and two of the cogs were level 12s. And so it was a fog and an elephant horn on two level 12s because the soundless and I waited for you two to pull back. Silly us.
And then, during the crane round, to NOT disable the goons near me is just dumb.
I am shocked at your behavior.
Then you merely stood by and watched during the crane round. I had to run back and forth from crane to crane. No one was gooning or craning. I had to try to get him dizzy, then leave that crane, dodge the swarm of red goons, disable one, and get to another crane to hit the CFO with the goon before he got un-dizzy.
You should be glad we got a max TU out of it. Otherwise I'd be REALLY mad.
Another edit: DO NOT USE MARBLES WITH NO BACKUP GAGS ON LEVEL 11s IN A BOSS FIGHT WITH OTHERS. EVER!!!!! and don't you DARE say "Sorry!" and then try to use them...AGAIN!
Yet another edit, sorry folks, things keep happening: DO NOT USE A TRUMPET AGAINST HYPNOGOGGLES! I am NOT kidding! And do not CONTINUE to use trumpets! That is why you went SAD, red rabbit.

Dear Multi-colored duck with the anorexic name and 42 laff,
I would advise you that as a duck with 4 gag tracks, going into the mint with level 1 to level 4 drop gags only is not a good idea.
It is also not quite proper, I think, to get mad at the two toons who lured and used TNT on a set of level 11 cogs. We understand that you want to use your level 4 drop to help us. We appreciate your intention to do so. Just as I'm sure you appreciate that we took time and effort to show you how to move around the mint.
It is quite unfortunate that you had to rush back to the playground while we were facing the supervisor. Especially because you failed to witness the ending of an invasion we needed.
May you have luck in your endeavors. May your future companions likewise be blessed with patience, fortitude and much more luck as they battle with you.
We hope to never have the misfortune of running with you agin.

I thought you couldn't get into a mint with less than 60 or whatever laffs? I'm not sure about that level, but I seem to remember someone once telling me they were stopped at the door by not having enough laffs?

I was probably a coin. There is no minimum laff for a coin mint.

Dear bad dog,
Week two and you tried to take out LOM. You stank me during the halftime by whisper (screenshot saved) and you stank us in the Skel round.
You thought using sound would take me out? (Screenshot saved) Not if we work sound with you, eh? You only left a couple of high toons short of laugh, but they were skilled enough to ease through the pie round.
And guess who got the most hits into the door this run to help win your VP promotion? Yeah. You're welcome.
To coin your own use of the phrase (screenshot saved), maybe you shouldn't bother US if you don't like running with us. What's the point of doing so if you don't like us? You're obviously reading the boards here but want nothing to do with us.
If you want an easy meal ticket to Hollywood then maybe you should look into CCG aka The Cold Caller's Guild. They have runs several times a day and a beanfest on Wednesdays. The difference is those big Hollies won't bail on you there.
Stratics does not have a no-shuffle policy OR a strict LLKR strategy, so we won't fall for the sound the uber dead routine here. Stink enough regulars and you won't be on a load with anyone.

What is a "LLKR strategy?" And I'm curious about the no-shuffle policy (or lack thereof) and what you guys do about people who show up to go on Stratics runs who get a reputation for being a pain. I went on a CCG run once and there was one toon who caused trouble from beginning to end. It was pretty much when I decided to stop running with organized groups because you aren't supposed to shuffle off and I knew I didn't want to go with that toon anymore.

Joe and Terri are right.
It was a coin mint -- that seemed to take more time to finish than a bullion mint.

Well, we only shuffle to even things out. If someone shuffles simply to be with a friend, they hear it from me.
We get very few troublemakers on our runs. The Trolley phrase moves us to the backup district if we recognize a toon who has caused us problems in the past.
Every CCG run I've attended has had one of those toons. Every one. Not to mention bossy toons barking out orders the entire time. It's great for some people, but not for me.

DEAR BLUE DOG,
In the past 2 weeks you have showed up to several event's. At every one your jumping around more then the rabbits. You yell "Let's Go" and bounce on toons that are being social while waiting for the whole group to come.
The first Sunday run's you came to that I saw you tried to kill off toons in the VP. Then resumed bouncing around at the CFO. I did not hear how that battle went. Then you were chosen to go with the group I was in for the CJ. While we were in the elevator you jumped ship and left us short handed. Did you happpen to notice NOT ONE SINGLE TOON GOT OFF THE ELEVATOR WITH YOU? I can't speak for anyone else but I was annoyed with you. You almost mad a few of my friends go sad being stupid. I would rather Battle solo then have you in there with me.
Next you show up for the friday night SOS shopping. We had just enough toons to make our runs when you started AGAIN with the jumping around and "Lets Go!". I even whispered to you not to do that only to be ignored. So we decided to change districts. And somehow you found us. I am not sure if your friends with someone that was there or you just got lucky. So we changed districts one more time and immediately your there. I believe you are or were a friend of a member but they wouldnt admit it. We finally got to VP without you.
Then you show up again this past Sunday. I don't know if your the DOG flippers is talking about but this soulds like what you did the previous Sunday.
Do yourself a favor. Don't get on the elevator with me. I will go sad out of spite to take you with me. I can always get my lvl 7 gags back.

It's not USUALLY followed beyond the VP runs unless there's a soundless toon in the group. Also when there are all larger toons on the same side in the VP anything can go.
The LLKR method is an assembly line technique to ensure everyone wins. If one cog is taken out on the right before lure wears off, the new left cog is the only one to attack if lure misses. Of course with the 15-laffers it's the end of the road regardless.
They have exceptions. For example, when someone uses the slideshow lure and a small toon is on their side, only hit the new cog on the left because the others will hold for 15 rounds.
Oh btw August the wabbit was very nice this week. Thanks Daddio!

I've seen CCG runs where the large toons act just as wacky as small randoms in River, which is why I don't go on them anymore. It's a craps shoot either way.

That dog was getting on my nerves at the beanfest once again. Last week he kept whispering to me You Stink and Its too risky for you. I was on my 45 laff cat and only there for beans. This week I was on my 109 laff cat and this same dog starts whispering to me to be his friend. Please! Over and over. I told him No thanks. I think this it too risky for you, and please don't bother me. After that I got the sad emote a couple of times before he got the message.

So you are Black Night too? I saw him bothering you. How many toons do you have? You need to put them in your signature. I can't keep them straight. LOL!

Dear Toon,
Please don't tell me to "Save your powerful gags" when we're in a coin mint and I pull out a second fog since one of the toons with us doesn't have fog yet and is using Aoogah. First of all, there aren't enough battles in the Coin to really worry about saving Fogs, and second of all, I didn't want the little one to go sad since one fog, two ele's, and an aoogah won't take out the cogs in a mint. Good Grief!

I would guess CCG has a greater chance of a troublemaker because they are so large. The few runs I went on with them went fine, and I remember at one point I was 1 loss for 7 runs, before I stopped going, but if you have a toon that's a pain, I guess it's hard to get rid of them (like this dog you guys are talking about).
I tell you, there are few phrases that irritate me more than "Save your powerful gags" or "Follow me." Any time I hear those 2, I ignore whatever is said after that!!

Dear big random tune with the good gags...
Please stop being so bossy. When you say, "I think you should choose lure"...um...there are three of us...who are you talking to? Since we can't SF chat, please don't get upset if two people choose lure. How 'bout working WITH us? It's not that serious if two people choose lure. I mean, everyone was on full laff and the lure worked. Get over it instead of saying "This isn't what I'm looking for."

Nah - school just didnt start for them yet. It's a real problem during summer break to expect a decent run in just about any CCG load. In fact, last year Smusher stopped all DA runs between June 15th and Labor Day.
And yes those types are a dime a dozen with CCG, but remember we're talking about 80ish toons on a good night, so any TTC board lurkers and randoms (since anywhere CCG meets the district turns green) can be mixed in.

Dear 57 laff toon in the VP,
Thanks for using your Trumpet on those 2 level 12's and 1 level 11 in the cog round AFTER I used my hypno goggles. When you were down to 7 laff you were crying that you needed a TU. No thanks, Im busy fighting cogs. I lured, you sounded AGAIN. Not only did you go back to the playground, but the 34 laff uber standing next to you did also (SAD BUG) Maybe, after you build up your gags some more you'll come back and we can try it again.
TIP: If you're going to grief by using sound on lured cogs and you are less than 60 laff with others on the side in there 120's, more than likely you will go first.

Dear Goofy Speedway toons,
Let's get one thing straight. When I go to Goofy Speedway and race with toons, I'm not there to hand out wins. I'm not there to purposefully lose. I'm there to beat the pants off of you. Plain and simple. If you think I stink and that I'm being mean, and/or cheating because I'm beating you by a half lap easy, fine and dandy, but keep it to yourself. (BTW... taking time to Speedchat 'You stink' and 'That wasn't nice!' during a race... hmm. I wonder why you're lagging me by half a lap.) However, it's not 'cheating' that I have learned the tracks in detail and know all the tricks to shave seconds off my lap times. I don't hit walls if I can avoid it, I take curves with the shortest path possible, and above all, I don't swerve my cart all over the friggin' track and thus keep my speed up.
I've beat some toons who are considered the best in the racing business in some circles simply because I know how to race and race well. When it comes to things like speedboosts, I know when to hold 'em, and when to let them loose. I zipped past a particularly well known racing toon on the last lap simply because I knew where to fire off a speedboost that also allowed me to hit a track boost at full speed, sending me flying at Warp 9 down the track for the win. Cheating? Hardly. Good strategy? You betcha.
So lay off with the stinking.
Sincerely,
Captain Comet Thunderboom and the rest of my toons.

Dear 105 laff brown bear with barbie, aoogah, cream pie and fire hose outside of the buillion in NR;
I appreciate your concern for my 72 laffer with hypno, fog, birthday, and storm and how you thought it was too risky for me. You must not have noticed my 128 laff escort just in case there were people like you. I saw who you went with. Did you win? I did.

No problem!
It was actually kind of funny, my son went from hopping around and annoying some, to trying to get that blue dog to STOP annoying everyone. When he saw the blue dog knocking people off crates, he followed him around to knock HIM off the crates. I explained that he was probably making things worse, but I was laughing inside.
If I'm Trish's bossbot bouncer, I think my son would like to be the beanfest bouncer.

Dear cat in my oh-so-wonderful VP run tonight (you know who you are),
Oy vey. We'd have been better off if you had just stopped picking gags. Obviously you are relatively new, if you use solo unmaxed cream pies on level 12s after everyone else picked their gags, so lying about it does nothing.
It really didn't help that this was my third Clerk Will in two days.
And to a certain small redheaded monkey...I DO NOT need a swirly. Thanks anyway.
Sigh!

Dear Yellow Duck in Sellbot Hq
Learn to look at peoples gags and not their suits before you make a decision. I realize im a 106 and still in Cold Caller but that does not justify my strength in the VP battle. I don't see why you kept hopping off after every other MH got on and there was no one else left in the room. Now you see why i waited until 1 to hop off. By now i wasted two minutes of your life. Actually, you did.

Dear pink cat in Goofy Speedway,
Yeah, you'd better run like a bunny after cheating like that. 1 minute and 38 seconds on Airborne Acres? Yeah right. I saw your icon go crazy and then all of a sudden I was in second. I was all set to use the report button for the first time for that little stunt, but you made tracks, probably because you knew I would. You'd better hope and pray I don't run across you again, because you better believe I'll use it.
Sincerely,
Keapon Oinkin

Dear toons ready to go fight the VP. When I am standing on the steps, and a group of toons, say 5-6, are ready to go, please stop telling me "LET'S GO!!!!" I will GO when I'm ready to go, not when YOU tell me, and I will wait as long as I want, for whatever reason I am waiting, and no amount of you telling me "PLEASE" and "Let's GO!!!" is going to make me go any faster. I really DON'T CARE that you are in a hurry, anxious to go, or are wanting to get started. GO WITHOUT ME. And no, I don't want to be your friend either.

Dear blue mouse,
When a couple toons say 'Sorry, I'm helping a friend.' when you board the factory elevator with them, then it's a pretty good indication they intend to go by themselves. Especially since we went to the side elevator for this very reason, and you teleported to Wascally while we headed there. In our case, we were going in with the specific purpose of not only getting Wascally's merits, but to work my traps in the process, something most toons don't want to do. Therefore our caution in taking randoms with us is understandable, and given your behavior after it became clear we weren't intending to board with you, I'm glad we didn't. 'Hiding' just out of range, with the intent of boarding just as we did, is childish, and gives an indication of just what you would have done inside. 'Don't be mean'? Speak for yourself. 'You need more laff points?' Please. I'm through Dreamland, and 7 more laff does not a better toon make. When the invasion started, we left not because of you, but because Wascally has all day to factory, and I could get more trap points in a building. Your ':-)' seemed to indicate you thought you won, but in fact you lost, because I snagged 200 points in that building we found. 'Have a nice day!'
Sincerely,
Simon McBoo and Mrs. Wascally Wabbit.

Dear Toon,
While I realize the the Bossbot area is fairly new, and some of you won't know this, but it's not a hard thing to figure out! I used a train today on four level 12 version 2.0's and someone else used sound. This makes the skele's that show up have a blinking red health meter. THIS DOES NOT MEAN that they are about to die. There's a glitch in the system. So using two ele's and two aoogah's on these 12's is NOT going to kill them. It's NOT EVEN going to damage them much. Level 12's have 200HP each!!! I realize it's a glitch in the system, but after a couple of times, you should get the point. You were all above flunky suits save for one toon, so saying "Huh?" like you don't get it really confounds me. This glitch happens in the CGC's as well, so if you got your suit, you should have seen it before. GOOD GRIEF!

For v2.0 cogs does the extra damage carry on?

What if there's 3 wedding cakes on a row or 12v2.0s or 4 cakes on a 12v2.o? Will it destroy the whole thing?

I can't think of a strategy that would take out all four 12 V2.0s. However, if you end up with some very weak ones for a 2nd round, they can't hit you and you can bike horn them to death if you lure + creme pie + wedding cake + titanic. lol

I know you can take out a v2 cog with 4 birthday cakes. You see the cog bend down twice quickly and that tells you that he is gone completely and won't come back as a skele. I would think using 3 wedding cakes would do the same.

Sorry, I was having a serious case of the grumpies yesterday...Yes, damage does carry on to the skele's of v2.0 cogs, but my organic train did 214 damage and his ele did 21...which means the new skele's needed to have 165HP taken away. A couple of ele's (I was out of Fog's or I would have used one) and aoogah's just aren't going to do that....UNLESS you do it three or four times. These toons (all three of them battling with me on our side) acted all shocked when the sound didn't kill the skele's. They were in cog suits ranging from Yesman to BC so I would think that they have seen it before....but maybe I'm just asking too much.

Duke,
I know for a fact that 2 operas and 2 fogs will completely take out a row of lvl 12 v2.0 cogs, As will 2 or more wedding cakes and 3 or more gysers, and 2 toon tanics will almost tkae them all but you need 1 small sound at the beginning of both sets.
I have dont all of this with Steve in a boss battle once and posted pic's.

Yes, the above will work on level 12 v2.0 cogs because level 12's have 200HP so if you're using anything that will do 400HP damage all together (with bonuses, etc...) it's going to take all v2.0's out including skele's.

Dear RED BEAR in the CJ,
You are rude, mean, and SOOOOOO childish for someone who has 125 laff points. Just because I used a b-day cake when you picked storm cloud on the very first two cogs when in NR and lagging like crazy, you don't have to act like a complete a** the whole rest of the round. I couldn't go back and change my choice. I'M SOO SORRY I killed that level 8 and you didn't get your 12 exp points or whatever!!! Normally I would apologize for such a gag mixup but you started stinking me from that moment on so I didn't say a word to you. Since it is the middle of the day, I assume that you're an adult, which makes it even more PATHETIC. Then someone else made the same type of accidental gag mixup, which I guess ticked you off even more, so you then decided not to help us at all, and instead started using aoogah's on level 12's. You're LUCKY someone had sympathy on you and tooned you up because I sure wasn't....Well, we all survived, including you, but I have your name, and I will NEVER EVER EVER go into any type of battle with you. EVER.

Dear Group of 6 other toons that were SOOOOO NICE and left me ALONE in the CFO during the cog round. I sure do appreciate your leaving me high and dry to waste 4 sos cards, a unite, all my level 7 gags and still get sad. There is nothing better then you bunch of chicken S&%* babies running scared cause there was only 7 toons on the elevator. Your a bunch of CATS(change and insret other word here).

Dear a-hole,
I like to avoid practicing guilt-by-association since your spouse has been a griefer for some time to several people while acting like a prima donna around TTC bigshots. But I'll reconsider my stance after this incident.
I made a point to hang around with ubers after CCG's scheduled run to help in a revenge. It's my way of giving back to toons who have helped me in the past with mine. After about 20 minutes you showed up as the 8th to join us.
In the skel round we were sided with the 40 and 15 laffer dogs and three 12s came out among the four cogs. The last thing we needed was a nonorganic train, but that's what you pulled without a word, knowing three cogs would be left and potentially send the two ubers we were there to help to the playground.
The other two couldnt sound - the 40 laffer had TU instead - and neither pulled a gag on one of the 12s to finish them off. I think they assumed you had enough. But as your toon animated to lay down the tracks, you finally said "I haven't found it yet." We were lucky that the 40 laffer made it through, but you saw to it the 15 laffer went. Then you said "No problem." I thought that was a nerve after having set this up and waited. We would have been better off with three on our side than someone like you as a fourth.
The surprise was looking up the 15 laffer on the CCG roster to PM them my apologies. Seems we sent either you or your spouse to the playground, didn't we?
How low can adults stoop for a sick joke and take advantage of well-meaning people? Maybe this is acceptable in your culture, but not mine. I truly pity you.

Hi Mountain Man!
This same thing just happened to me about a half hour ago. This purple dog ..118 laff...finished airborne acres in 1 1/2 minutes.
His icon also went "crazy" , stopped on the track right after the start...then all of a sudden jumped from 4th place to 1st and the rest of us finished the race in the normal 3.40 minutes or so.
I went to the scoreboard things and he was standing there. I did not say anything. On the scoreboard, it showed he finished TWO races like that today. Both races were 3 plus minute ones.
He had to have been doing some sort of cheat. This is the first time I have heard of it..but, I am fairly new to racing.

When their icon starts going crazy like that, it typically means they've used a glitch to get into the gray/green and bypass most of the track for impossible track times. I hate it to death, and if someone else does it to me, I'm going to be on the hunt for them with my mouse on that report button.

That glitch happened to me once. I wasn't doing it intentionally. Another kart shoved me and suddenly I was floating in gray space. No idea, to this day, what exactly happened. Glad it was before report buttons, though. LOL

What is the deal with toons in the factory lately? Seems I've run into a rash of toons with bad attitudes. TWICE this week, I've had some 50-something laffers start telling me to follow them or to use this or that gag, the fight is ON. One trip, the toon insisted on using lure, in spite of the other toons using horns, with one of them insisting on using sound NO MATTER that the other toon wouldn't quit with the lure! One of them eventually went sad, to my relief, because I was getting annoyed with the whole silly situation. Then, on the upper level, we finished off the first set, I went ahead and stepped on the switch, and on the SECOND switch, that same toon refused to go step on it, and the stand-off was on, because I KNEW what was going to happen. Finally, I just went ahead and blew it off and discoed outta there, just to heck with it.
The second one got upset because I was there for the merits, and obviously they weren't. They kept saying "follow me," "this way," and "have you been here before?" LOL. Then, the toon stopped using any gags at all, waiting to run up when the very last cog was going down, which I guess was supposed to really get to us, but my friend and I really didn't care at all, but this toon ALSO wanted US to step on the switches at the top so they could do the final set alone.
Is it just me or do any of you run into this "step on the switch" fight? How do you handle it? If I step on the switch, I can't seem to make it out that second door without waiting for it to reopen.
